One of the design goals is that they don't have a user database, so governments etc can't knock down their door demanding anything. By using phone numbers your "contacts" are not on their servers but local on your phone.

I've been the same experience but some of the gamers I know aren't looking forward to the end of win 10. Sadly none of them thinks about a switch to Linux. I guess they will just continue using it until a serious security whole drives them to win 11. I would also bet that I've of the last updates Microsoft pushes to win 10 will make it really hard to use it extremely annoying.

Krank ist krank. Wenn ein Arbeitgeber das nicht akzeptiert ist er nicht nur bescheuert weil er die Gesundheit der anderen Mitarbeiter gefährdet sondern vlt auch einfach kein guter Arbeitgeber im allgemeinen.
