@sag Note the identity of Eunice is left unclear. This is intentional to keep it more open to interpretation. Eunice just represents a minority also seeking liberation but is being punished for for selfish reasons.

Also, you could replace "gay" with any other identity and it still works. I’m NOT saying it's only gay people guilty of this. But you know, only 3 panels … 😉

My point is, we must be wary of bigotry among our own, and be ready to call it out, or else it will destroy us from within.

@sag Yes, it was sarcasm. I used a lot of sarcasm.

This is about gatekeeping. A few (!) activists in the LGBTQ+ selfishly only seek their own liberation, but when another person of another minority comes along (e.g. trans, bisexual, asexual, intersex, etc.), they don't care and might even justify bigotry on their own.

Example: The LGB Alliance. They're anti-trans, selfishly ignoring contributions of trans ppl.

I want to clarify that most gay activists are cool ppl and not transphobes.

@Faresh Yeah, Lua definitely does have some weaknesses but I’ve seen worse so it doesn’t stop me from using it.

I’m not aware of any TypeScript-like language for Lua.
I found TypeScriptToLua but I don’t like the idea as those are entirely different languages.

But luacheck is relatively popular in the Luanti community for static code analysis and linting.

@Alk @ZippyBot Yeah right, sure. A modding community that has produced over 2200 mods (and the latest one was posted on ContentDB yesterday) and over 120 games is definitely dead. 🤦

@spreadmastodon Here's a list of suggestions for your site:

  1. Explain what Mastodon is and what the reader can do with it and what the benefit is (assume the reader is a n00b)
  2. Suggest servers other than the biggest one
  3. Remove analytics BS
  4. Rethink the hamburger menu cuz its not obvious it's a clickable link (not every1 is on mobile)
  5. No buzzwords like "maximize your experience"

Don't get me wrong, I still very much applaud the effort but still think it needs work.
