I really like Codeberg. It is a Non-Profit and based on Forgejo which is FOSS. Sadly there are not many Projects there.

Thank you for the recommendation. I need to say i really enjoy mindful and i think i will stay with it. I will keep an eye on digipaws tho since i really like the idea of the gamification part which is still in development

The Dev is implementing a local only mode for the next version. It can be downloaded from the Nightly-Builds Repo if you want to try it.

This is the link to the nightly-builds: https://github.com/libre-tube/NightlyBuilds

Be aware that it is a Debug-Build so it will be a bit laggy

I want to buy a new car, but it needs to be privacy friendly. Sadly you cannot really buy any new Car that is.

Has anybody any experience on making your modern car not phone home to its company, by removing the hardware it uses to do?

Is there any Good alternative for Forest? I want a App to reward me for not using my phone.

Describe the bug I am trying to install AssettoCorsa but it seems like Protontricks does not find the right path. protontricks (WARNING): Steam library folder /run/media/username/LinuxSeagate4TB/SteamLibrary not found. Protontricks might not have access to the directory.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Run command protontricks --no-background-wineserver 244210 shell
Command fails and error is displayed

Expected behavior No Error and correct directory displayed. correct would be /mnt/LinuxSeagate4TB/SteamLibrary

System (please complete the following information):

Distro: [Fedora Linux 38 (Workstation Edition) x86_64]
Protontricks installation method: [dnf install protontricks]
Protontricks version: protontricks (1.10.3)

I bought a Eaton Ellipse Eco 650 USB DIN for my Homelab. I connected it to my nas which is running OpenMediaVault because OMV has a NUT Plugin. I conneced it, it got recognised and i thought i should test it. So i switched the breaker off and my nas turned off safely after my entered time. I then went to turn the breaker back on, but after a few seconds the ups shuts the power off all devices and applies it after a second. This only happens when the nas is connected via usb.

  • is there a setting that i missed in nut?
  • is my ups broken (i dont think so)
  • what could be the problem?

Edit: Wow, the Eaton Germany Support is terrible. I called them multiple times and i think they dont even have a Call Center. I now submitted a Support Ticket. They could at least tell you that they dont have telephone support right now. If i get a response i will update this.

Edit2: It turns out, it was a issue with the integrated nut tools in OpenMediaVault. After removing them and installing them via apt and configuring it with the config files, it works without any power loss.

I am sorry if this has been asked before, but when or will it be open sourced. It is the best Lemmy Client i have used yet but i dont like anything being closed source and i read somewhere the dev wants to open source it at some point. Just interested if there is an estimate.

Is this Total User Counter true? It seems kind of wrong because the Graph is only at 300k and i cannot imagine that we grew 200k people in the last 4 hours.

The Website Url is: https://fedidb.org/current-events/threadiverse

Does anyone know why the-federation.info is down?
