i smoked cigarettes from 13 years old until my 40s. i switched to vaping, stepped down nicotine levels to zero and finally quit all together. it took 2 years but it worked. i tried medications, cold turkey, and wasn't able to stop until the step down method.

if it wasn't for vaping, i would have never been able to have quit smoking/vaping. thanks to the ability to control the nicotine, i was able to completely stop.

honestly, the world holds so many forms, genres, sounds of music. if a band is spreading a shitty message, there is another artist around the corner that can deliver a similar musical vibe without being caked in hateful bullshit. i personally don't get down with bands who have a garbage message for the same reason that i would tell a racist pos he was a racist pos if they used the n-word in front of me. if you truly don't like the message an artist produces, why expose yourself to the shittiness. /rant

dragon age origins (oldie but a goodie). i second the mass effect trilogy, witcher 3, and disco. forgotten city was short but good. baldur's gate 3. horizon zero dawn. solasta had pretty crappy graphics but i enjoyed the story and gameplay.

i hope david hogg is paying attention. primary every one of those assholes.

yes as @ericatty said, I still smoked that vape like a chimney. I just didn't have as much nicotine as the months/year went on. I tried the "oh i'll just have one cigarette" and that resulted in massive failure, and I was back to a pack a day in no time.
