You don't need PL to get the latest patches and updates.

What are you even talking about? They only shit you had to pay extra for was Phantom Liberty. Every other update or content release has been free.

Don't just mourn and doomscroll. Learn and get more involved with internet privacy and security. Start tailoring your own data footprint to be as useless as possible to scrapers. Learn about Nightshade and how to poison generative AI. Get rid of Chrome or Edge for Icecat or Librewolf.

Dump Windows or Apple for Linux. Becoming a user is easier now than its ever been and the FOSS community has an alternative for just about every use-case. I recommend reading "Obsfucation". It's a practical field manual for resisting this dystopian nightmare.

I don't have much faith in "people".

Worst I've ever seen was someone's "cover" of Resonance by HOME that was literally just an AI butchering of the song set to scuffed as shit generated cyberpunk imagery.

I remember 25. I still felt alive and didn't have chronic pain randomly appearing in various parts of my body.

Glad to know I'm not the only one who walks away from a Kubrick movie feeling like they just had a conversation with the most boring person on the planet.

That isn't an incorrect critique of Aronofsky. His shit really doesn't hold up after the critics stop climbing over each other to laud his obtuse cinematography and incoherent plots as genius.
