Yeah! I don't think I do in the sense some people do, in the sense that some people describe having a narrator or something like that. If I am to think in words or sentences it takes a little more effort and happens when I'm thinking about talking to someone or putting things into words, whereas my passive thinking is generally wordless, and more conceptual/spacial/tactile.

As far as I understand it they are just a worse solution than mounting standard solar panels on a roof. More expensive, less efficient, thus only gonna get used for aesthetic reasons.

Kinda like solar roadways and some other on the surface cool sounding but in practice niche technologies.

I started working to get hormones about 2 days after the US election, and have been on hrt (E, Spiro) for a couple months. It's a little disorienting, the juxtaposition of the dread and fear against the intense joy and euphoria I have been feeling. I feel like I am doing better than I ever have in my life, it feels like before I lived in this emotional grey, an autopilot, and now my life is begining at 30. At the same time I feel that fascism is rapidly intensifying. I fear for my loved ones who are immigrants, for the uncountable people being disappeared, and despite living in a "safe" state know I am not very far behind in terms of risk over the next few years. I have on some level preparing myself to run, but I also hate the idea of it on so many levels. I in some ways feel like coward to consider running when many close to me cannot or will not.

It's a confusing time. But also it feels like I have been given a life again, I am like Frankenstein awakening to the world from the cold grip of death, and that joy is so intense and I am so thankful for it.

I will die before I detransition, and I don't intend to die easily.

I am glad drag is here, and I'm sorry people are being so shitty, and causing drag pain. I hope they realize it and change how they behave toward drag and others with unique pronouns. But knowing that that is not terribly likely I hope that drag knows that by being open about this part of dragself, and by being open about drags pain, drag is helping improve a little chunk of the world for people like me, and that that matters, and that I appreciate drag.

I mean

Good question

Essentially that would be the US invading another NATO country (Denmark) and annexing it's territory. Which I think would call for article 5 (In this case an act of war against all of NATO by the largest military of NATO). In practice, would Denmark and the rest of NATO just not call it an invasion? Send a bunch of strongly worded letters about an "unauthorized intrusion" or something? I have no idea.

I mean I think Trump is probably saying these things just to stay in the spotlight or distract from other news, like he often does.

Coming from someone who worked tech support for some time: There are lots of people with no grasp of basic computing concepts working office jobs in which they sit at a computer all day. Some even highly educated and specialized. lawyers, managers, marketing consultants, insurance salespeople... young and old. They can use Word, and Outlook, and Chrome, and phone apps, but the concept of a file or folder, or utilizing files and folders to organize information, are alien to some. Doesn't help that some (especially mobile) OS's do a lot to obscure that layer from people, and people can often get by with rigid workflows or by calling tech support a lot. Not judging them. Well at least the ones who were nice to me. I don't know how to change my oil. I mean none of the people I'm thinking of did either. But I don't know how to do whatever lawyer managers do all day(meetings?). I realize there is some self selection in who calls tech support every day, so having worked tech support might have skewed my perception of the average office worker.

Satisfactory is a fairly good example of it (and also a game I am obsessed with). Games differentiate areas with biomes often, but the position of biomes often follows no climate logic. Having a rainforest and high desert and boreal forest, each maybe 1km x 1km within a 5x5 km area, with stark borders between them would be utterly bizarre on earth. Satisfactory does it's part to hide this by having such a maze like layout, broken up by the steep karst landscape, with no clear line of sight across the whole map most of the time, but a lot of games just let that be something we suspend our disbelief for in order to have more variety in the game. Satisfactory also can do some hand waving of it through the implication that it's some sort of alien garden world as well, and might be ecologically influenced by an entity which may be pursuing variety (that said I haven't gathered all the mercer spheres, that's just the vibe I get fairly early in the game). The bizarreness is reduced by not having a taiga or frozen desert in that same 5km x 5km region, something some games will include so they can have a snowy place as well.

I posted this to reddit a year ago. Back then I was living in the south bay area, and for a while had a cellar spider chilling in my sink. There were a few times I was afraid that I washed her out when I forgot to be careful of her while doing dishes, but she was tough and always held on. Saw her for a month or so, and I hope she moved on to another roost.
