Someone get me the fuck away from r/worldnews. How do these people get like this? Why do they get so much smug fucking satisfaction from it?

Just philosophically I think there's never anything wrong with being careful. We're all leftists here. Questioning shit out in the Posting Trenches is one thing but here I think it's fine. By breaking down and picking apart the shit they're sending out, we're able to combat the misinformation elsewhere. Also the mental effect of all this misinformation piles up and can start to weigh on you. Nobody's fucking hoisting the Zionist flag, we just wanna make sure we have our facts straight. And now it seems like we do, and of course we were right all along, but there's nothing wrong with ensuring that's the case carefully.
's response to the hospital massacre has me going beyond joker mode. They've decided this was actually Hamas's fault, claiming without evidence that it was a Hamas rocket misfire.
I'm not as cool as Mao but I'm with you too.
I've been hunkered down fucking with them for hours. This used to be so bad for my mental health but now for whatever reason I am getting such a kick out of it.
/pol/'s take on Israel-Palestinian conflict is basically "hopefully the [racial slur]s and [racial slur]s will annihilate each other" but honestly I see more out-and-out genocidal rhetoric coming from in regards to this issue
Deepest apologies if this has been addressed many times but I've been looking and can't find it: does anybody know of any good, reliable up-to-date sources about what's going on on the ground? Even on the tactical or very low-level strategic level? I know everything is up in the air and brand new but I'm getting conflicting information as to whether Hamas forces are being pushed back to the border or are advancing.
I just think dogging on someone for saying "think of the actual consequences/Realpolitik of this" is going too far. Especially if you recognize and agree with their point as it seems you do, that the reprisal is likely to be horrific. It strikes me as getting mad at someone for "bringing down the mood" and in my opinion this is already not a "high mood" situation.
All the best comrade, I mean nothing in disrespect
Are you implying the Indigenous peoples of Amerikkka did not violently resist their genocide, and that if they had history would have gone differently?
All I am saying is those who want to celebrate this may do so but all they are celebrating is the excuse Israel will use for continuing and worsening massacre. My only concern is for the human cost of war, the vast majority of which will once more be weathered by the Palestinian people.
Libs on reddit and the MSM calling this an "intelligence failure" are out of their minds. Mossad allowed for this to happen to drum up fear and jingoism and justify horrific reprisals against the Palestinian people.
The streets are paved crimson with red lines upon red lines upon red lines.
