I'm in a discord group where there's a lot of panic.
The folks in this room aren't buying $40-80 handhelds and suddenly have to pay more. They're buying a dozen of them to tinker and modifying and sharing the knowledge.
Many are considering going back to rebuilding it by hand again.
These gadgets are pretty neat on general. It's not always gaming either.

I'm always excited by new seasons of Rick And Morty. Just set your expectations low. Assume 1-2 episodes will be bangers, 2-4 episodes would be acceptable, some will be the most idiotic writing ever, and 1 episode to be such a mindfuck that you reconsider how you see life.
I bought a cheap $30 bidet during the pandemic. It was an awful experience. Told everyone how overrated bidets were.
Then last year, I decided to try again, but this was a top shelf fancy $300 bidet. My god, it was like night and day. My butthole never felt so pristine.
If you hate bidets, look at the more higher end ones.

And while it's easy to laugh at these horny nerds, it really hit close to home when my wife, a person who admitted she HATES animated shows, bought a Delicious in Dungeon Senshi doll to recreate the famous fan service scene.
Like when you say "Fuck Nazis" and suddenly a bunch of comments going "The conservatives did nothing wrong!" Like what?
On one end: this reminds me of the anime, Frieren. She talks about how demons learn to use human words to survive. Like a demon would cry "mother" because it knows humans will hesitate, even though demons don't know what it means. It's like a magic spell.
On the other end: the Animatrix has a scene where humans crush robots because they're "not" human, even though AI robots tried their best to coexist peacefully.
