For video calls that was really bad compared to skype.
Unfortunately everybody was using it (i had to do it because everybody was using it).
skype was way ahead of his time. The quality was top notch. MS fucked by changing the architecture from decentralized to centralized in windows servers - this fucked up the calls quality and it created an opportunity window for whatsapp, viber, etc...
MS turned skype to shit.
I lived in Paris center in 8m2 for 400€.
Is this correct? 8 square meters? Was just a bed and a toilet next to it?
OP writes "instead of their american counterparts", and then puts signal.
Firefox as well any opensource doesn't have a country. You can build it and use it. Avoid any centralized service.
The 4 freedoms of software are:
Freedom 0: The Freedom to Run
You can use the software for any purpose, without restrictions.
Freedom 1: The Freedom to Study and Modify
You have access to the source code, allowing you to study how the software works and make changes to suit your needs.
Freedom 2: The Freedom to Distribute Copies
You can share copies of the software with others, whether for free or at a cost.
Freedom 3: The Freedom to Improve and Share Improvements
You can modify the software and share your changes with the community, helping others benefit from your improvements.
as long as these freedoms are observed it doesn't matter the country of origin.
unfortunately for me, the ETF currency is USD.
This is the 3rd time, that i remember, that some german state moved to linux. It always ends up with moving back to windows, because:
- Corruption/money
- The users will complain until death about linux, because now the workflow is different, and they don't like it.
Who needs cops anyway?
CHOP/CHAZ
isn't it FLOSS? Free libre open source?
have you seen the latest price of the most expensive bikes? Maybe not a car price of the last couple years, but the most expensive bikes are the same price of small car in the 90's and 00's.
And please also note, that people have more than 1 bike (but not the expensive ones)
You need to study history then. Even if you mean oppressed in the US your narrative is wrong:
