I don't know. Can the lead levels in plants and meat even be high enough to be dangerous for humans?
I assumed removing the lead pipes would be enough for lead while you had to remove the microplastics from every plant and animal you want to eat. But I realise I may be completely wrong.

That's true. I meant we stopped actively using them when building new houses. Though now that I think about it, even that is maybe not true everywhere. But at least it's something you could change once you identify the problem. Microplastics have permeated everything, they can be found in the depths of the Mariana Trench. There is no getting rid of them (as far as we know).

Many, many future generation's leaded gasoline aswell. You're welcome, future generations! We thought, we'd add a little something to the mix to take your mind of the climate disaster.

Remember those stupid people in the past, drinking lead-poisoned water? At least we could just stop using lead in pipes when we found out it's bad for us. Good luck finding anything to ingest without microplastics.

Ich würde mal behaupten, bei Frauen ist es noch ein ganz kleines bisschen schwieriger, weil Frauen halt mehr Kurven haben (meistens, da fängt das Problem schon an) und es damit mehr Maße gibt, die einbezogen werden müssen und die nicht unbedingt in einem proportionalen Verhältnis stehen.
Aber ist ja im Prinzip auch egal, am Ende leiden wir alle unter dem gleichen Problem: Dass eine Vielzahl an Körpermaßen (z. B. Brust, Taille, Hüfte, Oberkörperlänge, Schulterbreite bei Oberteilen) auf eine einzige Größe reduziert werden. Dann muss man sich im Endeffekt nach dem Maß richten, das die größte Kleidergröße verlangt und der Rest sitzt dann halt beschissen. Bei Hosen hat man ggf noch das Glück, dass es zwei Größen sind, aber das hilft den Leuten auch nicht, bei denen eine andere Variable abweicht (Hallo Mitleidende, deren Taille zu schmal für die von der Hüfte vorgegebene Größe ist!).

Ja, da hast du recht, das sollte sie. Aber die denkt lieber an die armen Anwohner, die vor 5 Jahren ihr Haus mit einem einzigen Parkplatz gebaut haben und jetzt ja dringend zwei Autos auf der Straße parken müssen, weil der Parkplatz ja für die Mülltonnen und ein bisschen Gerümpel gebraucht wird.

Niemand macht sowas als einmaligen Fehltritt. Um überhaupt auf die Idee zu kommen, sowas zu machen, braucht es ein bestimmtes Mindset. Klar kann man das Mindset ändern, aber ich glaube nicht, dass es genug Anreiz gäbe, das zu tun, wenn es mit einer Entschuldigung abgehakt ist.

Also ich kenne die Situation hier nicht. Aber bei mir in der Straße sind keine ausgewiesenen Parkplätze. Die Leute parken einfach rechts und links am Straßenrand. Teilweise so, dass man sich schon mit dem Auto nur noch im langsamen Slalom durchschlängeln kann.
Meistens sind tagsüber dann einige Autos weg, sodass die Müllabfuhr einigermaßen durchkommt. Aber wenn dann halt noch der Bus entgegen kommt, ist kompletter Stillstand. Kann man bloß hoffen, dass nie die Feuerwehr nachts durchmuss.

How about some Shakespeare? A lot of his sonnets are about a young man, the "Fair Youth". Then you'd even have some plausible deniability because there are many people and scholars refusing to accept that Shakespeare might have liked me as well as women.

Edit: Just saw that I wrote "me" instead of "men". But I'm sure Shakespeare would have loved me (though scholars might disagree).

This is probably not the one you meant, but it made me think of this quote from Monstrous Regiment:

No, it doesn't necessarily. Several women can be the victim of one man. Of course that doesn't change that it's probably a very low number.
