Kbin has features around filtering and sorting built into the engine that you can't fix with a Lemmy reskin. I know this because I wrote one lol

What if we called it kaboomy

All kbin microblog posts have to be to a magazine. The "profile" magazine is called "random"

I use the micro blogging feature inside magazines where I'm asking for help that doesn't require a link to anything. It acts like a standard forum in that mode

I realized why I like kbin more while I was writing a front end for Lemmy. On Lemmy you have very limited control over filtering and sorting e.g
"Top" granularity is only at the day level whereas in kbin you can do hours. Lemmy only has a single "hotness" filter whereas kbin has the same granularity for hotness as it does top.

I've been using Linux for over 25 years but I hate using it as desktop. Wsl provides a nice environment for development and app running in a Linux environment without sacrificing the manifold reasons for running windows. Since wsl2 Linux gui programs even run natively without having to install an x server

I was recently diagnosed with a personality disorder. High emotion is a symptom. Might want to talk to a psychologist
