Good points. I think you're right!

Well said. And today shows that. When people vote for who they believe in, instead of bowing down to bullies, they can sleep in peace.

And thanks for modding this community. You guys are doing awesome work, and I know how tough it is to go against the grain with all the groupthink on Lemmy.

You stood up, and your vote counted. Good on ya, mate!

I can agree with that! I'm no fan of the duopoly and that's why I didn't support it with my votes. Even tho Lemmy tried to bully me. And banned me from soooo many instances. lol

[–] [email protected] 2 points 9 months ago

I actually am. You all worshiped the Duopoly soooo much, that you became blind to what was really going on. I didn't vote for him, but I sure as hell didn't vote for Harris.

I didn't support the duopoly. You all did.

The democrats didn't lose because of Trump (or people like me), you all lost because of your entitlement and blindness. The democratic party needs to do a LOT of soulsearching today.

The amount of hate I received on Lemmy, just because I chose not to vote for Harris was insane. And way worse than anything the Republicans ever said.

Yeah, I was suprised that Lemmy, which touted itself as such a great alternative to Reddit, was so hateful in its bias.

Sure, some bias is exptected, but the hate and vitriol I received here just because I didn't vote for Harris was crazy. Banned from instances, lied about, followed around by a downvote brigade, people posting stats about me. Like full-on batshit crazy people here.

But I like Lemmy and love the idea of the fediverse. And I hope the hateful bullies here do some soul-searching after tonight's election. Because their hate made me more anti-democrat than I ever was before!

And their bullying didn't make me leave Lemmy. I'm here to stay. :)

Yeah, actually right after the incident, I told my kid that Trump just won the election. Then after Harris was picked, I backed off and said, maybe not. And wow, here we are.

I think you are taking things little too far, friend. Thanks!

[–] [email protected] 1 points 9 months ago (3 children)

Um, seems like you took things a little too far there, comrade. Be well!

[–] [email protected] 0 points 9 months ago (5 children)

Well, I guess you don't have to worry about that here in the US, because the socialist didn't win. So see? Problem solved. Thanks, comrade!

Wow, crazy election night, right? Who knew that sooooo many people liked and would vote Trump?!

Ya know, now that I think of it, I guess banning me from .world didn't really change the election after all. Not. At. All. Oh, well. lol

Hmmm, maybe you guys should have been concentrating on better candidates instead of blaming third party voters or blaming people who posted news articles on Lemmy. LMAO

But I gotta say, my night has been AWESOME!! Hope you're doing well, friend! :)

Meh, the person I voted for didn't win either, so...

Looks like your aggressive support for Harris didn't work out very well.

Maybe don't be a jerk to people just because they don't agree with you--see if that will work better next time, friend!
