How long before Nazi Barbie is back in the news with her Jewish Space Laser accusations?

I hope you're giving the employees cash, otherwise you're probably just giving the store a couple of extra bucks that the employees likely never see.

It’s not rational, it’s not logical, it doesn’t pass a common sense test, you’re fucking stupid.

An apt description of just about any part of the GQP/conservative ideology.

LOL, how does he think that pleadimg the 5th during evidence gathering phase is going to help? They don't need his testimony to prove he incited the insurrection.

Looks like DA Willis is a democrat, so that could be part of it. I heard the governor wasn't wanting him charged, but I'm glad a patriot was in the DA position to ensure that an attempt at justice could be brought against him.

.... implying that some dumb ex-president attempting a self coup to prevent the lawful transfer of power isn't a serious issue.

I still have no idea how credit managed to stuff themselves into a duffel bag, zipped it up and decided to hang out in that car trunk.

The Georgia indictment is amazing. Something like 19 people named, and like 30 unindicted coconspirators. There's no way there's not a good number of flips there.

The NYT posted a (soon to be) annotated version of the indictment. So far only the first page is annotated, but I expect the notations will appear over time. I'll end up reading the doc in the morning when I'm sober enough to enjoy it.

You can plead 'not guilty' even if you were arrested holding the bloody knife, its just not going to do you much good.

As for the presumption of innocence, as DA Willis put it in her statement this evening, an indictment is just a series of allegations, its up to the prosecutor and team to prove it beyond a reasonable doubt. Going back to the knife analogy, you're going into the case where you're legally presumed innocent, but the bloody knife/witnesses will show that you stabbed that guy.

Trump only got ~13 of the 41 charges based on my count.

Interesting. I haven't made it very far into the actual indictment this evening (reading legal docs when inebriated is not recommended), but I appreciate the info!
