Oh wow, that's news. Who could have seen Israel stealing more land from Gaza, that's just unprecedented....

Yeah, bet that went as well as all the Hispanic kids in high school taking Spanish as their 'easy A'... It was hilarious when they realized their easy A course turned out to be their hardest one because they didn't speak the particular dialect being taught and had to relearn their language to pass.

No, because the Derp State is going to hide all the evidence so Trump's lawyers can't release the information. The only other person who has the info is Trump's Canadian girlfriend, you've never met her since she goes to a different school.

Idiocy is a core tenent of the Republican platform and has been for years. Intelligence has been looked down on by the Republican party for the 20 odd years I've been paying attention, and it's only gotten worse as they've cozied up to the insane authoritarians and leaned into the bugfuck support of 'religion' to get their way/keep themselves in power

That's interesting, considering Israeli government officials wouldn't confirm the veracity of the photos, and after the US Whitehouse made the same claims, they were also walked back because they saw news reports and not photographic evidence. Same with multiple news orgs.

Given the amount of walking back and refusal to verify, along with going radio silent about it, means this is a BS story in my mind. If this had really happened, Israel wouldn't be able to stop themselves from plastering it across every news feed that would run them as evidence of hamas' barbarism.

That was already confirmed, including photos.

I went looking and there isn't much being returned short of 5-6 days ago, but I've seen no proof that it happened, only people walking back that they never really saw photos and were taking Israeli spokes-heads at face value. Here's a Boston globe opinion piece from today that still claims the information is/was unverified.

Edit: from 5 days ago: Israeli official says government cannot confirm babies were beheaded in Hamas attack

Must just be your area. Where I live we have roundabouts all around (I have to go through 3 of them to get to my closest hardware store) and I don't really see that many people that have issues with them. Worst we have to deal with are cars who are too slow to get into the roundabout and wait forever, or drive slowly and clog up the roundabout, but those are pretty rare thankfully.

I think it's probably safe to say that the vast majority of music that is listened to today would not exist if the artists couldn't financially support themselves from it. Do you really disagree with that?

Of course not, and I clearly called out that there would be less music if there wasn't an monetary incentive to do so. But at the same time, record industry titans falling would leave a massive vacuum that would be filled by more independent artists and labels. In the end, there would be less music overall, but there would still be some way for artists to get their cut.

Industry titans aren't music, they're merely the middlemen who craft what they think the public wants to hear and leech money from artists. Them falling would be a boon to the smaller and more niche acts who don't get the chance to explode because they don't have the weight of a major label to push them into the spotlight.
