Actually hilarious, by the way. That one’s really good.

"I found it when I wasn't looking." ~ a great youtube Poop about Postman Tap (by DaThings), which I have never heard of before or since.

No it came to me in my near fever-dream like conscious state I somethymes find myself, when I am reading my own stuff.

I've found something alike! Basically there is a program/app/website called 1 Second Everyday, i find it somewhat sketchy. There was a video by Jacob Geller, a Video-Essayist, that I dont really enjoy. But it seems to be gone, but this one proves that I didn't make everything up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dhG9JxAF8vg

Hm, isn't it too warm for a jacket? everything seems to be melting around here, like it's sooo warm.

Maybe a jacket is like a hair-cut, it needs to be on you for a while, until it at some point doesnt look weird but just belongs there.

The new video by unsolicited advice, the one about fiction books, is very interesting.

Ha! I knew it! or did I? maybe I am just pretending? Or misremembering? But you have been eating too little protein.

Great, that you are feeling great. We all can use a little of that somethymes. I'm gonna nerd out on food today.

"So, I bought some chocolate-flavoured protein powder from the local supermarket. I think it was a really good purchase.

It’s not exactly God’s gift to gastronomy or anything, but it’s genuinely good tasting, to be honest. I really like it - just being honest [...]"

Ah One of my friends has had a VERY similar experience, they have some difficulty with eating some foods, but certain protein bars are basically one of the things they are eating. And they have worded their eating habits on this issue similarily.

Two things on Protein:

-When it is hot and your body uses Protein for energy and not muscle-growth or maintenance, then it is metabolizing it and that is an inefficient process and you get the "meat-sweats"

-If you eat too much protein, and not enough fiber and stuff, then you'll have a real fun thyme not shitting.

General Food knowledge, (I can't guarantee muffin'): Macronutrients: Sugars and Carbohydrates, Fats and Oils, Proteins, Ethanol (and also fiber) These can be taken in in large quantities, one of the main functions of each is to deliver energy to the body.

Sugars and carbohydrates (except fruits) are very much a food that is a sign of civilization, you can decide how much your body can have of it.

Ethanol is basically sugar, but also poisonous, it is liquid so you don't know how much you've had and it makes you hungry. But in the olden days the people from the tour the france would in the evening sit in the Food-place and all would drink a biiiiig beer. The germans call Beer "liquid bread" which is somewhat fitting, except you'd die from consuming it that way.

Fats and oils are essential to have, else you can (after a looong while) get protein poisoning and your body takes the fats of your brain to maintain itself, not fun. There are better and worse fats and oils for you, you have to decide which you want to give to your body. It is a very dense energy source, its vory tasty (carries flavour) technically you dont need lots of it.

Proteins are the building blocks of cells and especially muscles. You wont die if you don't eat "protein rich foods", since everything that was alive and not refined beyond belief (ex: raw suger) contains some proteins still. But especially if you want to build muscle you want to have a bit of excess, so that cell regeneration and building can happen fastly. You can buy expensive Protein bars, which are often fortified and make having a balanced diet "easy", they are also a very processed food. You can also buy meats and animal products like cheese and eggs. Or you can go the Beans route and adjust your body to the eating of legumes. You will need to eat at least one meal of them a week, else the gas never stops.

Fibers or Roughage is a thing that is proven to help your body significantly, even though it does not need it and cannot use it. Generally it is a carbohydrate that is ridiculously long or contains cellulose. It basically transports itself trhough your guts and does things I don't want to claim to understand and hence this topic is concluded.

There is also the process of Autophagy, where your body "eats itself" in a manner, which it has been evolved for. This can be achieved through longer periods of fasting. You could equate it to taking out the various things out of your living room, getting out all of the old spider-webs and such and then re-organizing your living room until you eat again.

Micronutrients: From salts to Vitamins and much more. (ex: Creatine) These are Important to have, but basically you need a nutritionist to determine a lack of any of these. A balanced diet containing fresh fruits and vegetables and some Meats will also keep your body mostly in shape in this departement. If you use additional of these, you must exercize caution, things like table-salt in high amounts are not healthy at all. We basically cannot determine if we just like it and it is as toxic as for our animal companions, or if we actually can deal with it better than they can.

If you want to exercize lots, you can use creatine to boost your muscles by a bit from 0% to 20% or even up to 40% if you basically never eat meat. This helps you gain this strength during anaerobic exercize (explosive power, instead of continuous power), which helps you lift more and stuff, which helps gaining more power faster (if your tendons, bones etc. handle the powergain, which they should, but still). Its basically the most researched sporty stimulant in all of science and carries nearly no risk, its already produced by your body, you muscles just can use a bunch more.

Trace thingies: These are only needed and available in extremely small quantities, like copper, very toxic in large quantities, but essential for balancing the body. Here it is a complicated game of rock-paper-scissors, but there is also a cat and mouse game and someone has just declared tariffs. What I mean the body is in a complex balance between these things and having an iron defficiency may not be all that bad, because it prevents another interaction, or you can have too much iron and suddenly the copper is deactivated, dont ask me what exactly is going on, i wouldnt remember. Trace thingies are also linked to hormones and if you know how complicated those are, you know how complicated these must be.

Basically this extreme complexity is the reason, why I dont like the nutri-score the europeans put on products. You cant take this complexity and reduce it into one metric. You need at least three (if you ever wanted to make an algea-colony, you know about A and B solution (somethymes also c) and i'm proposing something like that.) (Algeo Solution making, with C.A.T: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M_7ja6xPog4) Alternatively, I have heard that in mexico they have some good regulations for food-information on packaging, that allows normal people to make good decisions, which already affects the population in a positive manner. Well just my two cents.

I have had an idea! well not really, my brain just sort of cleaned up a bit. My brain clead up, because i fixed my laptop. I fixed my laptop because it broke. It broke after like near exactly 5 years of use. It broke because i wasn't carefull and it dropped like 35cm onto the floor. This is the second thyme these hinges on this machine broke and its sooo expensive to fix them, compared to the price of the machine itself. Anyways now it has cool, aerodynamic wooden fins, keeping the screen in an permanant upright position. It also has a new role in the house, which it will assume shortly and then live there for maybe 20 years. I have already bought a replacement one from the Lenovo site, never buying Acer again. The site has like these ridiculous 47% sales. And you can customize your own PC to a certain extent. Cool.

Anyways the Idea: A few years back I did a project where I would make a 1 second video every day, which was very fun while I did it. And other similar programs say one picture taken diliberately a day, or 7 seconds of video, whatever. I think the social-media thingy called Bereal (what comes after Bereal? Cereal... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHetc.) does something like that? It somethymes is just nice to do stupid things instead of smart things, so you could make a series of photos, where you just take a close-up of the fabric of one of your articles of clothing. That would be related to your interests?

And, if you are comfortable with that, you could even post these Pictures onto this journaling page of yours?

This comment is more disheveled than usual, because I am writing this on the now "fixed" Laptop. I am not used to writing things on here anymore. And Ive had a weird day, which makes everything I think about just like 30% more chaotic. Which is at least 5% more chaotic than is good for the left ear.

The struggle with cables is there, but the ideological argument to stay strong with the cable is an imperative.

Its absolutely fascinating to hear him develop his HATE of bluetooth over the years. i think the video I have linked previously is the wrong one? Like he has a lot of them and some of them are more comprehensive and bluetooth as a whole can just stink. Well sorr for that.

[–] Uiop 2 points 1 month ago (3 children)

Would I misrepresent you when I'd say that you are someone who wants to recognized and be part of a greater whole? Since you are describing Traffic whith analogies to a living body. And well having an euphoric feeling when considering how everything just fits is definetly an indicator of something we both know what it is...

I cannot condone using Bluetooth devices ethically.

  • Batteries, why must they be charged?
  • Batteries, Why must I pay for them?
  • Batteries, Why must they take up limited space and wheight in my tiny-ass fragile soundmachine?
  • Batteries, why must they be produced with such limited resources?
  • Batteries, why must they be breaking within 2 years?
  • Batteries, even with a breaking-rate of less than 99.9% there are just SO MANY that near everyone is guaranteed to experience how one of them explodes in their lifethime.
  • why must something that will be near me anyways communicate with something litterally on/in me through the air?
  • Quality
  • Bang for Buck
  • Absolutely terrible audio recording quality. like literally a 0 dollar cabled mike WILL be equivalent or significantly better than the microphone out of the way of your mouth and trying to record, encode, transcode and do all that magic while still keeping latency low, all in all it just ends up a bad experience. If you have multiple bluetooth devices you'll end up hating it all: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GbmLo3k8lmk

Yes, Noise-cancelling can be nice, bu it also can be dangerous and somethymes it deosnt work quite well and introduces bad noises.

Not to dunk on personal choices and preferwnces, just a rant that I wanted to pass along.

Nonono, You have to believe me the didgeridoo is awesome:

Ghost and Pals - Honey I'm Home: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xHffjNbWmig I figure, you are okay with Vocaloid, as the other video contains a VTuber

UmbraticForest covered the same song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uy43-h_NEaY

Echo Town - kin: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jAlZpu91X6A They are a band that, honestly, I've never heard of before until recently and the have: an insanely talented Drummer and another Multi-tasker who sings, didgeridoos etc. Sadly, in my opinion, the singing is the weakest part.

[–] Uiop 2 points 1 month ago (3 children)

"Here's the greatest cover of any song ever concocted, by the way" My dissonance is imeasurable and my day is ruined.

All I know about Nickelback is that they have had a live concert, that was sonutterly terrible, that Youtube doesnt flag it for copyright infringment, when you use these songs in a video.

Drums are absolutely one of the parts of music. Perhaps even some of the greatest parts of music, behind the Didgeridoo, of course.

Bahahaha! Your parents FORCED ou to look at shoes! What a ridiculous statement. Can you even prove its real?

"and the noise levels on the highway are absurd, if you're outside of a car. It's actually insane. Do not recommend."

"Cities aren't loud it's the cars that are loud" Do you know where this citation comes from?

I kind of question myself, whther getting a cheap phone is worth it. I mean a phone takes so many ressources just to produce and and and. However for me, it all comes dow to one factor: does it have a headphone jack? Everything else I care little about. This naturally rules out Apple products and most expensive phones. Another thing I need to concern mysekf whith when buying a phone, is that I am not careful with it at all, so they also break quickly, another case for the less expensive ones, since on the issue of breakage they behave similarily.

I am curious, how can taking a bus ride be great? Ive had a few bus Rides alon Italy's Genova to Nizza coast, which were beatiful but also nausiating. (We go there every to every second year for holidays, in days past there was this little railway very much along the coast, which would go trhough tunnels along the cliffs, now they have built a faster, larger double-tracked Railway further inland, inside the hills. The old railway they are converting into a bike track. And frankly, that is the best idea the italians have ever had.) I somewhat regularily take the bus to get somewhere, but they are loud, rattely and arent all that pleasant compared to anything on rails. And if it was your brother that was fun, I generally struggle to communicate deeply with my compeers on the bus, as it is a) loud and b) there are many people around.

Good to hear, that your day got better after writing down your woes.

The Elevator talk is legendary

[–] Uiop 2 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Cool! Have you interacted woth your neighbours already? I hear thats important. I would be scared when moving into an apartement because of... loud... neighbours.

[–] Uiop 2 points 1 month ago (3 children)

I think that you are obsessing about a few kg too much. If you reach 80, then you've changed a lot, but untill then you'd probably be more well-advised to not lose to much weight.

Especially if you are trying to grow in strength, your body needs a lot of energy to go through all of the sports, thinking and growing it needs to do.

I think you are doing great with your training. Especially doing it with your brother, who can count as an accountability partner.

I've recently been sucked into the phys-pen-tester community. Absolutely fascinating. One of the best is Deviant Ollam here are some talks by him:
