If that's the case 100% don't wait. You can't rely on these people.
Who knows nowadays, i wouldn't hold your job search though. I would keep looking, if they get back to you, you may find something better in that time frame.

This is so sad to me, they were amazing at one point. Their shows, reporting etc. How do two co-founders of such a great outlet, go bankrupt and turn into such piles of garbage.
