It is never going to be as simple as putting on a hat. Hair really gets in the way of picking up brain signals and you're not going to get the sensors in the right place.

EEGs are about the most advanced thing we have for monitoring the brain from the outside of the body without climbing into a machine. That requires a technician using special conductive glue to hold sensors on the scalp and then wrapping it all in gauze to keep it all from coming off. It takes about 15 minutes to put them all on and after it's taken off, you really want a shower to wash the glue off your scalp.

Paul said a lot of things in his letters that only could have possibly made sense in the time and place of the person/city he was writing to. Yet almost 2000 years later, people are still taking it as an absolute truth.

Because if they shut it all down, none of their members get paid. This way, the car companies are still paying employees to make parts, they have to pay more to move parts around, and may eventually have to pay for storage for parts that can't be assembled into cars.

Damage is indeed the goal but they're balancing the amount of damage they do to the car companies against the damage they do to their own members.

Managers are trying to get completed cars out the door. There's multiple locals involved in building each car. By random locals striking, managers waste money trying to work around broken bits of the supply chain.

There's a roughly $100,000 deduction for nonresident personal income tax and depending on the country, they can also subtract taxes paid on that money in their home country.

And the sign said anybody caught trespassing
Would be shot on sight.
So I jumped over the fence and I yelled at the house,
"Hey, what gives you the right
To put up a fence to keep me out
Or to keep mother nature in?"
If God was here he'd tell you to your face
"Man, you're some kind of sinner!"

Report it to the FTC.

Based on the linked articles, the research into genetically modified pig organs for xenotransplantation was already underway by the hospital. He could not donate his organs due to cancer, so they asked his family if he could be used as a human test subject for measuring the viability of the pig kidney.

The pig embryos have to be specifically genetically modified such that their organs don't have proteins that would cause an immune response in humans.

They removed one of his kidneys and put the pig one in. He had brain cancer which means all his organs were already inviable for transplant.
