Have you tried entertaining the thought that you're expecting things where they don't logically make sense? If you want a real example of queen baiting look at The Magicians. It had one of the most emotional deepest bonding episodes between two of the male main characters who -

lived an entire life together, decades, kids, I sobbed. And then they killed one of them right before they could get together. THATS the shit you should be upset about. Not this weird ass very clearly fanfiction between a straight man and an asexual.

Doesn't she, as a public figure, whose tweets (xhits?) will reach millions, have more of an onus of responsibility on her to fact check herself? I do agree with you on the fact that she's not ENTIRELLY denying the holocaust and to put her in the same camp as those who do DOES weaken what that means, 100% agreed on that. She's not a holocaust denier, she just denies some specific things that happened in the holocaust. It's still SUPER shitty and SUPER wrong but yes, agreed, she's not going around spouting "it never happened!" shit. I just came into this conversation but I appreciate your input all the same

PS Rowling is a hateful bigot

I was heavy heavy into the books when I saw it. I guess looking at it in the light of "this has no relation to the books" it wasn't bad, but it was a bad adaptation

Doesn't anyone who actively tries to defend literal Nazis by saying "wait wait guys the Nazis weren't THAT bad" https://www.thedailybeast.com/jk-rowling-adds-holocaust-denialism-to-her-transphobia warrent like....an immediate "this fucker is insane" thing? I mean if you're trying to defend someone who is trying to defend WW2 Nazis I think you're in the wrong camp is all

I would pay oodles to read Doanne Dathleen Rowling's version of events.

While Harry would have been apt based on my own hair levels, I just preferred the sound of Dresden. I have a fairly common name and it was not so much fun being "First name last initial" growing up so I also wanted to give him a decent semi unique name that wouldn't also fall in the realms of Tradegeigh or Traeiystiean shit

Also my wife started whispering it in her sleep the night I suggested it so that pretty much tied it.

The TV series was a mistake, was so excited when I saw it but man it fell flat.

I named my first born son Dresden because of these books. No lie. I still get a lot of "oh so are you German?" questions though. Philistines

Why do you say that? There's heaps and heaps of evidence of her believing she's right, I'd honestly like to hear this take.
