The right to privacy is stronger than an individual's right to enjoy their own home here. You can do whatever you want on your property and the cops do not care if it bothers literally every neighbor. Running circular saws at 5 am, cool. Debris from wood working piling up on everyone's lawns, cool. Literally shooting nails into a neighbor's house, cool. Threatening to drive anyone out of their homes who gently asks for noise to be kept to normal working hours, cool. Threatening to shoot people's dogs, and throwing spoiled meat (and their own dogs excrement) at a house or into a yard, cool. Harassing potential buyers when you give up and try to sell your house, cool.

Unfortunately all of the neighbors who have called the cops about them are women

The cops in my town are too busy talking about rights that don't make sense. In this case, Beau has the right to be stuck in a groundhog hole. Can't go interfering with his rights, regardless of whether that hurts his family or the groundhog!

I have never had legal trouble, but I have had my share of struggles stemming from PTSD. When I felt like I was at a good place to try inpatient therapy I went to a VA hospital with probably much less than typical resources. Still, a very popular program they offered was equine therapy. A ton of long(ish) term patients talked up a storm about it to me.

I think it's good to try, but maybe not for everyone just like any therapy. And the two guys who had caught federal assault charges while attending inpatient treatment with me were unfazed by equine therapy.

I had an ex proudly tell me that was his high school nickname. I'm ace, and somehow neither of us realized what the problem would be

I'm either binging or restricting. There is no "healthy food intake" season of my life yet. Getting there! Going from a stimulant to clonidine has actually helped a ton

Ah, sorry. I didn't see it when I looked through the posts in this community

Thank you for taking the time to let me know!

My organic chemistry professor spent a solid 30 minutes explaining the difference between an em dash and an en dash so we could use them correctly in our lab reports. Then ended his little lecture with saying "They're in the special character menu of your word processor. Unless you're on Mac, then I suggest googling them."

I don't think any of us used either dash, but I'm just sad no one called him on his BS lol

I seem to have the bottom comment covered by my navigation bar constantly. This interferes with interacting with the comment. It also interferes with some menu actions, which is quite frustrating

Sidewalks and 15-25mph speed limits go a long way. Would be nice if there was little community stores for staples embedded in the neighborhood, but that's a foreign concept in American suburbs

I wonder if a bot comment in each post reminding people this is a safe space for women only (trans/nb inclusive) might help cool down any resentment or harassment from men? I don't know if piefed has the ability to sticky comments like reddit, but at these communities are still small enough that a comment won't get drowned

Edit: I guess this might be hindered a bit because plenty of people block bots

Everyone's favorite guessing game: Why am I blacking out this time?

Have I had enough salt today? Water? Maybe not enough sleep? Am I anemic again?
