Why do you think using energy is bad by itself? They are paying for it and they are trying to get as much renewable as they can.
High income countries dislike the poor working conditions and authoritarian government. Those things are par for the course in middle income countries so it’s not as big of a deal.
Having to go to work every day really necessitates pretending things are normal.
I’m saying voters are locked in. He barely lost support when he tried to overthrow the government so he’s barely going to get support when someone tries to assassinate him.
Yup. Denial. All the facts point to it but people have never experienced this before so they don’t know how to act and just deny it.

I’m afraid of the unhinged violence Trump will use this for in the future. His supporters will have every justification in their mind to do whatever they want to anyone who disagrees with them.

Seriously. The last 8 years have shown us that 99% of people are pretty rock solid of who they are voting for. Attempting to overthrow the government moves the needle 0.1%
