That's brilliant, thank you :)
I'd actually forgotten to try the other method (ADHD strikes again!), so I'll try them both out this week :)

That's not the fedora 🤢
No, I've always just used whichever cheap one matches my needs :)
Just to add, you can get hard drive adaptors that fit in the same slot too, so you can have extra storage. They come in a DVD drive shaped caddy with pass through connectors for a laptop SATA drive 🙂
Born to work on a mining / ore processing station while being taken advantage of by people from a far off planet? It certainly sounds like it!
I'm disabled and have PIP. There's a common belief on most groups that deal with it that your first application is always denied, and it's supposedly to discourage people from appealing and getting the money.
With the number of people I've spoken to who are clearly eligible, but have only had PIP granted after an appeal, I can believe it.
I didn't see the replies to the second one, but the image looked fake, possibly AI generated. The news was that train carriages were being converted to private shelters for homeless people, with their own beds and storage, but the image showed a row of neatly made double beds down either side of a carriage with a walkway up the middle, all of which clearly wouldn't fit inside a carriage.
Given the reactions to anything AI on Lemmy, I wouldn't be surprised if it was something to do with that.
I'm gonna eat you little fishy!
Clean the outsides. You shouldn't put anything inside your ears, not even your fingers, but cleaning behind your ears and rubbing your earlobes between your soapy fingers isn't going to cause any issues 👍
I don't know how to do it on Android, but look into variable bit rate (VBR) rather than 320 kb/s. 320 kb/s is a constant bit rate (CBR), and means that silence is given the same quality and detail as the busiest track, and takes up space for no reason.
The highest VBR setting, V0, is indistinguishable from 320, but saves space. Depending on your ears and the phone speakers, you might be able to drop the quality slightly and save more space 👍
That's brilliant, thank you. I'll try it tonight and see how it goes :)
Someone check that it hasn't just rolled in curry like that bloody seagull
