I got rate limited in 25 minutes by refreshing my Following feed and reading about people getting rate limited. I don't think it counts 600 unique tweets since I definitely reloaded the same tweets multiple times.

The smoke from the Canadian wildfires has been really bad this week and I don't expect it to lift by the weekend so I'm not sure what's gonna happen. I want to get out on the lake and paddle but I find it really difficult to breathe outside and really don't want to be out there in 250+ AQI. Spent two hours in the garage organizing stuff, sweeping, and hosing it out last evening and my throat and lungs were really inflamed come morning.

Probably gonna end up playing Tears of the Kingdom or 40K Boltgun in between cleaning my house.

Awesome.

This might help some others. I had an odd issue where text and buttons were overlapping with images but clearing my cached data and relogging solved the problem.

My favorite is sauteed chickpeas (they are legumes dont @ me), with diced onion, garlic, and topped with spinach. Add some oil to the pan, drain and dump the can in, kind of mash em up a little so you have some intact ones and some squashers, add the onion and garlic when ready, turn the heat off, and add some spinach to wilt it. Sometimes I'll add some extra spinach and diced tomatoes to make some weird hot salad thing.

Most of my Reddit commenting was done on threads for people looking for advice in one of my hobbies. I generally had a good experience giving feedback here since most people in the subreddit were level headed. Sometimes you got the occasional asshole parroting the usual online "best way to do something" that goes against some people's actual real life experience that is being shared.

I didn't really make any meaningful (non joke) comments outside of this subreddit since I didn't feel like getting some dick in my notifications trying to start a fight over whatever I posted. Sometimes I didn't mind battling the dicks in the hobby subreddit since people lurking can actually learn or get a different perspective from "No, you shouldn't take what's in a listicle as fact. Here is my experience with this."

The 0.0.35 Jerboa update breaks this instance (for the time being), but I've had good luck using Connect for Lemmy. I'm not able to filter posts or make replies on Jerboa but everything seems to be working as expected with Connect. Check it out!

Can you hold in a poo for three days?

My cat will let me touch and pet him anywhere. He will get up and walk away if he's done with it. I'll roll him around on the floor like a rolling pin or play the bongos on his belly or butt. Sometimes he will want to play rough and will play bite and bunny kick my hand but it's never actual aggression.

My friends cat will let you pet him quite rough but he doesn't like his belly or back legs pet. He will gently let you know with a kind nip and a little yip sound. Hasn't been hissy or scratchy but I think it's because he knows me and we are pals.

I am technical writer and was doing some writing where the standard was to NOT use the Oxford comma and it drove me insane. It took like 6 months to unlearn using it.

You are supposed to say "questionmark".
