I think you might be right, I left and came back and the ones I was having issues with appearing in my subscriptions are now there. Not sure what happened but it's working ok now.

I think you know this but you are clearly not the asshole. I'm glad your sister has someone there for her so keep supporting her and speak to your mum about how dangerous it is that Mike is acting that way. You don't want your sister to become distant because she will do what she wants anyway just not in a safe way.
