Showing my age here, but the first time I remember using the web was in the mid-90s when there were only a girl's of hundred web sites. Almost all of them were universities. But I remember going to playboy.com as a joke and being amazed that there's was actually a website for it. There was also a pizzahut.com website that pointed to a specific restaurant in San Jose CA.

Dating someone with opposing views is the easier of two situations people can find themselves in.

The harder situation is when you date and marry someone with similar views to yours, but then 5, 10, 15, etc years into the marriage they get radicalized by family members or YouTube. And suddenly their opinions change overnight and you are legally bound to an angry, hostile stranger.

Awesome, thanks for the tips!

I started down the Jellyfin path after they made that announcement. It's super easy to install, and in many ways the UI is nicer than Plex. But I ran into challenges getting my server safely accessible for users outside my LAN. And I haven't had the time to look into that further.

Would be great if there was a clean, easy way to set up the webserver portion so it's as easy to share content entirely as Plex. But I get they are a volunteer project with a lot on their plate.

Well, it makes most of us happier. There was a minority of people who were very unhappy about remote working and who were eager for everyone to be forced back into the office. Not me, but there were some people.

Was that the video where one of the peacekeepers pulls the backpack away from the person and starts shouting about how he has a rifle, and then cops descend on the guy with the rifle?

If so, that might have been them later detaining the peacekeeper who shot the guy who ran into the crowd (the same peacekeeper who accidentally shot the Samoan bystander)?

Or maybe not. This whole situation is very confusing.

Edit: Or more likely, the guy with the rifle who was called out and detailed by cops wasn't the volunteer but instead was the guy who initially ran at the crowd. Either way, it's still a confusing situation.

Good news good Signal.

After all the Sesko and Gyorkeres talk, it's going to be pretty underwhelming if we the up settling for Ollie Watkins.

Romano is saying it's looking good for MLS and Nwaneri signing be contracts.

Nico Williams looks set to go to Barcelona, but only if they can figure out the transfer fees and salary for him. But additionally, salary will be a problem for us too.

I keep reading on articles, even those from this year, that Signal has an offline communications ability.

The articles talk about "Signal Offline" as an app. But that seems the same as the main Signal app?

Additionally, is there some functionality in Signal that allows you to connect with nearby users in the event when WiFi and cellular networks are down (like via some sort of a mesh network approach or Bluetooth)?

Edit: Thanks for the information to those who replied.

The instance this community moved to is shutting down, and for some reason the voting options didn't include moving the community to lemmy.world. So now it's moving yet again to some other instance.

Given this turn off events, why not just resurrect it here?

Arsenal are currently in advanced talks to sign Matteo Tognozzi, who is formerly the head of scouting at Juventus. He would work under Andrea Berta.

Introduction

Below is a list of transfer rumours for possible incoming transfers during the summer transfer window of 2025, along with some key pieces of information.

Likelihood

This is based on information at the time of last review, and brief reasoning is given for each rumour. But ultimately it's purely subjective. Values for this are:

  • Very Unlikely
  • Unlikely
  • Possible
  • Likely
  • Very Likely

Trend

The direction in which the likelihood seems to be heading with recent developments.

  • 🔼 = Move to us trending upwards
  • 🔽 = Move to us trending downwards
  • ➖ = No change in trend

MEN'S TEAM

Players In

Confirmed Ins

Potential Ins

Samu Aghehowa

  • Positions: Striker
  • Age: 21
  • Current club: Porto
  • Likelihood: Unlikely (3/10) ➖ - Our name has been casually added to the long list of potential suitors for Porto's young Spanish/Nigerian striker. But there's no real substance to the rumours. So don't expect them to go anywhere unless something drastic changes.

Julián Alvarez

  • Positions: Striker
  • Age: 25
  • Current club: Atletico Madrid
  • Likelihood: Very Unlikely (2/10) ➖ - The former Man City forward has had a great season with Atletico. Idle chatter has it that we are interested in him (probably due to the Arteta/Man City connection). But Alvarez only signed with Atletico last season, and he's been saying he's happy in Spain and reticent to move back to the PL. So this one seems dead on arrival.

Lucien Agoume

  • Positions: Defensive Midfield
  • Age: 23
  • Current club: Sevilla
  • Likelihood: Very Unlikely (2/10) ➖ - Some idle chatter about this one, but given that Zumbimendi is almost certain to sign, and we are also likely to extend Partey as a back-up, this one doesn't seem to have much credence. Maybe he's an emergency backup option.

Kepa Arrizabalaga

  • Positions: Goalkeeper
  • Age: 30
  • Current club: Chelsea
  • Likelihood: Very Likely (8/10) ➖ - The former Chelsea record transfer fee holder has popping up on the Arsenal transfer radar all over the place in the last few days. He had a good season on loan with Bournemouth, but it seems he's tempted to join a bigger club permanently to continue resurrecting his career. And Arteta and Berta think he fits our needs well. According to Ornstein this deal is now close to being completed.

Brahim Díaz

  • Positions: Right Wing
  • Age: 25 Current club: Real Madrid
  • Likelihood: Unlikely (3/10) 🆕 - Questions have surfaced about whether Diaz has a future at Real Madrid. But in lieu of any concrete chatter, this one probably isn't going anywhere.

Anthony Elanga

  • Positions: Right Wing
  • Age: 23
  • Current club: Nottingham Forest
  • Likelihood: Unlikely (3/10) ➖ - One of Forest's star players has been rumoured to be leaving this summer, and our name has now entered the fray. But it seems unlikely considering his age and position.

Eberechi Eze

  • Positions: Left Wing, Attacking Midfield
  • Age: 26
  • Current club: Crystal Palace
  • Likelihood: Unlikely (3/10) ➖ - The former Arsenal Academy player has been catching the eye of many clubs following a dazzling season with Palace. But with a couple more years left on his current contract and the lure of the Europa League next season, it's more likely he will stay in South London.

Alejandro Garnacho

  • Positions: Attacking Midfield
  • Age: 20
  • Current club: Manchester United
  • Likelihood: Possible (4/10) ➖ - He wants to leave, and Manchester United wants him gone. Some idle rumours have linked Garnacho to us. And right now per Romano it's looking very likely he will be moving to another Premier League club. But no concrete word are linking us with a formal offer on him at the moment.

Jamie Gittens

  • Positions: Left Wing
  • Age: 20
  • Current club: Borussia Dortmund
  • Likelihood: Unlikely (3/10) ➖ - The young Englishman's star has been rising in Germany. He wouldn't break the bank for us, but equally, he'd still cost a fair amount.

Anthony Gordon

  • Positions: Left Wing
  • Age: 24
  • Current club: Newcastle
  • Likelihood: Unlikely (3/10) ➖ - One of Newcastle's gems, he is formidable down the left wing. But it seems unlikely Newcastle would part with him, especially to a PL rival.

Marc Guehi

  • Positions: Centreback
  • Age: 24
  • Current club: Crystal Palace
  • Likelihood: Unlikely (3/10) ➖ - We've been casually linked with him in the past, and now we are being linked again - along with several other clubs. But unless Kiwior or someone else leaves, it's hard to see a need for another centreback. And he might be happy to stay at Palace with them set to play in the Europa League.

Viktor Gyökeres

  • Positions: Striker
  • Age: 26
  • Current club: Sporting CP
  • Likelihood: Possible (4/10) 🔽 - We've been linked with him all through the season. He has been dominating the Portuguese top flight, and Berta is a huge fan of him. Rumour has it that it'll be either him or Sesko coming in. But the latest talk is that despite the player wanting to move to us, two offers have now been rebuffed and we are planning to move on to other options.

Jorrel Hato

  • Positions: Left Back
  • Age: 19
  • Current club: Ajax
  • Likelihood: Unlikely (2/10) ➖ - We were linked with his last summer, and here we are again. Although it's possible this is just a confused or lazy pundit resurrecting old gossip. It's hard to see why we'd move for another young left back with at least three other LB options available. If there is any credence to this rumour, it might come down to Lewis-Skelly signing a new contract or leaving us. But we'd need to make an early decision on Hato because several other clubs are also linked to him.

Alexander Isak

  • Positions: Striker
  • Age: 25
  • Current club: Newcastle
  • Likelihood: Very Unlikely (2/10) ➖ - Oh what could have been! We had the chance to sign him a few years ago, but passed on him. He's now become a massive talent and Newcastle's most prized player, and they wouldn't part with him for absolutely silly money, no matter how much Arteta would love to add him to our squad.

Konstantinos Karetsas

  • Positions: Attacking Midfield
  • Age: 17
  • Current club: KRC Genk
  • Likelihood: Possible (4/10) ➖ - The young Greek attacking midfield has suddenly popped up on our transfer radar. Lots of chatter but not many very solid sources. At 17, he'd surely be coming in as a longer-term player who would be incubating for a season or two in the Academy.

Bilal El Khannouss

  • Positions: Attacking Midfield
  • Age: 21
  • Current club: Leicester City
  • Likelihood: Possible (4/10) ➖ - He had a great season with a struggling Leicester, who may now be open to cashing in on him in their bid to bounce back to the Premier League. He's currently valued at around £30 million, which isn't too bad. Although attacking midfield probably isn't our top priority right now position-wise.

Takefusa Kubo

  • Positions: Right Wing
  • Age: 23
  • Current club: Real Sociedad
  • Likelihood: Unlikely (3/10) ➖ - The young Japan international is now on the transfer rumours radar, with us and Liverpool being listed as possible targets. But sources are flimsy right now, so it's hard to see this one as more than just casual spitballing or agent hyping at the moment.

Mohammed Kudus

  • Positions: Right Wing
  • Age: 24
  • Current club: West Ham United
  • Likelihood: Possible (4/10) ➖ - West Ham gossip has it that Kudus is on his way out but wants to stay in the Premier League. And we have been listed as one of his potential destinations. He's a versatile player who can also play on the left or up front, and he's coming off a good season with the Hammers. A release clause of £85 million might be a big stumbling block though.

Aymeric Laporte

  • Positions: Centreback
  • Age: 31 Current club: Al-Nassr FC
  • Likelihood: Possible (4/10) 🆕 - The former Manchester City player is rumoured to be leaving the Middle East, with us listed as a possible location. The Arteta/Manchester City connection could merit some attention, and it's possible we might come in as a backup centreback. But there's still quite a lot of work to be done, if it does even have any merit.

Rafael Leão

  • Positions: Left Wing
  • Age: 25
  • Current club: AC Milan
  • Likelihood: Possible (4/10) ➖ - Might be out of favour in Milan and looking to move on. There's talk that Berta has been in talks with Milan over a move for him. Chatter has increased a bit over the last couple of days. But there's still not a whole lot to go on here.

Kang-in Lee

  • Positions: Right Wing
  • Age: 24
  • Current club: Paris Saint-Germain
  • Likelihood: Very Unlikely (2/10) ➖ - It's baffling how as soon as a big club wins a major trophy the rumours start to swirl that they are now going to dismantle most of their successful team. This is a good example. There's some unsubstantiated gossip that we are now in for their right winger. But it makes no sense why he'd want to leave PSG right now. So this one seems pretty dubious.

Giovanni Leoni

  • Positions: Centreback
  • Age: 18
  • Current club: Parma
  • Likelihood: Possible (4/10) ➖ - The arrival of Calafiori and Berta has apparently meant it's open season on further Italian transfer rumours. This one is a young'un who the whispers say we are hoping to lure away. There's not much to go on right now, so we'll see.

Ademola Lookman

  • Positions: Striker
  • Age: 27
  • Current club: Atalanta
  • Likelihood: Unlikely (3/10) ➖ - He's looking to move on from Atalanta, apparently. He's English, has decent experience, and wouldn't break the bank. But unless he's brought in as a backup for Gyökeres or Sesko, it seems he'd only be a contingency as our new main man.

Emiliano Martinez

  • Positions: Goalkeeper
  • Age: 32
  • Current club: Aston Villa
  • Likelihood: Very Unlikely (2/10) ➖ - The former gunner looks set to leave Villa this summer. And there's some flimsy chatter that we will go in for him, probably on the back of him professing he still loves the Arsenal. But given how he left us before, this doesn't seem like the kind of path Arteta will want to re-tread. Especially not with Kepa on the brink of signing for us.

Bryan Mbeumo

  • Positions: Right Wing
  • Age: 25
  • Current club: Brentford
  • Likelihood: Unlikely 3/10) ➖ - He's been on fire for Brentford this season, and is a consistent threat down the right wing. Latest talk, including from Romano, is that we are interested in him and monitoring his situation. However, the latest news is that he's chosen Man United over us for his new club. Good luck with that, Bryan!

Yankuba Minteh

  • Positions: Right Wing
  • Age: 20
  • Current club: Brighton & Hove Albion
  • Likelihood: Unlikely (3/10) ➖ - Yet another new right winger to be mentioned as a potential transfer target of us. He had a decent season and is presumably might be seen as one for the future. But as with other names, the sources for this rumour are lightweight at the moment.

Kaoru Mitoma

  • Positions: Left Wing
  • Age: 28
  • Current club: Brighton & Hove Albion
  • Likelihood: Unlikely (3/10) ➖ - The talented Japanese international has had another good season with Brighton. But he might not be the right versatility and age profile for Arteta. And Bayern Munich are apparently now pushing hard to sign him.

Antonio Nusa

  • Positions: Left Wing
  • Age: 20
  • Current club: Leipzig
  • Likelihood: Unlikely (3/10) 🆕 - The young Swiss/Nigerian winger has recently been linked with us. But not many credible sources.

Igor Paixão

  • Positions: Left Wing
  • Age: 24
  • Current club: Feyenoord
  • Likelihood: Possible (4/10) ➖ - Another left winger, another Brazilian. He checks the boxes in several areas, but only low-grade chatter right now from a few sources, so we'll see.

Alexsandro Ribeiro

  • Positions: Centreback
  • Age: 25
  • Current club: Lille
  • Likelihood: Unlikely (3/10) 🆕 - Another Brazilian centreback being linked to us from Lille, presumably as a replacement to a possibly outgoing Kiwior. But no serious sources. It's hard to see much credibility on this one when it seems like a carbon copy of the Big Gabi transfer.

Rodrygo

  • Positions: Right Wing
  • Age: 24
  • Current club: Real Madrid
  • Likelihood: Very Unlikely (2/10) ➖ - Chatter started up a couple of weeks ago that we were going in for the Brazilian who may be out of favour with incoming manager Alonso. However, he's been publicly stated he really wants to stay at Real Madrid. And they don't seem interested in selling him.

Morgan Rogers

  • Positions: Left Wing
  • Age: 22
  • Current club: Aston Villa
  • Likelihood: Unlikely (3/10) ➖ - He's apparently being discussed as an option for our left wing after catching the eye with Villa this season. But it's hard to see Emery or his club giving the green light for the exit of such a promising young player.

Leroy Sane

  • Positions: Right Wing
  • Age: 29
  • Current club: Bayern Munich
  • Likelihood: Very Unlikely (2/10) 🔽 - Chatter was that the winger is looking to move on from Bayern Munich after falling down the pecking order there. But his wages always made that look unlikely. We held off on any serious interest, and he now looks set to move to Turkey.

Andrey Santos

  • Positions: Central Midfield
  • Age: 21
  • Current club: Chelsea
  • Likelihood: Very Unlikely (2/10) ➖ - He's impressed on loan at Strasbourg. But it always seemed very unlikely that Chelsea will sell the young Brazilian to a big rival. And now he's announced he wants to stay in West London.

Antoine Semenyo

  • Positions: left Wing
  • Age: 25
  • Current club: Real Sociedad
  • Likelihood: Possible (4/10) ➖ - Another proposed answer to our left wing situation is Semenyo at Bournemouth. He's has a good season with them and is apparently being discussed as a PL-ready, mature option to offer competition to Martinelli by folding right into the team and hitting the ground running. Not many credible sources for this one right now though.

Benjamin Sesko

  • Positions: Striker
  • Age: 21
  • Current club: RB Leipzig
  • Likelihood: Possible (4/10) 🔽 - Despite him signing a new contract with Leipzig last summer, apparently we are still interested and may even be informal negotiations for him. Arteta is very keen on him. Rumour had it that it'll be either him or Gyökeres coming in. Romano and others said we have been very actively pursuing him. But a deal has now stalled.

Igor Tyjon

  • Positions: Striker
  • Age: 17
  • Current club: Blackburn Rovers
  • Likelihood: Possible (4/10) ➖ - This candidate would definitely be one for the future, and wouldn't feature in our first team for a year or two. But the young English/Polish forward is now being associated to us.

Dušan Vlahović

  • Positions: Striker
  • Age: 25
  • Current club: Juventus
  • Likelihood: Unlikely (3/10) 🆕(??) - More evidence that time is a closed loop is that we're being linked to Vlahović yet again. This one just feels like very tired pundits plucking a name off an article from bygone years without checking the date.

Ollie Watkins

  • Positions: Striker
  • Age: 29
  • Current club: Aston Villa
  • Likelihood: Possible (6/10) 🔼 - The ship appeared to sail on this one last winter, when we went in for him but were rebuffed (to the annoyance of the player, apparently). However, Watkins is now being seen as the back-up option for Sesko and Gyokeres. And as those deals have now stalled, this one is coming back to life.

Nico Williams

  • Positions: Left Wing
  • Age: 22
  • Current club: Athletic Bilbao
  • Likelihood: Very Unlikely (2/10) 🔽 - Another of the legion of rumours coming back in from last summer. He's liked by Arteta. But talk on this rumour has gone cold recently, and it seems likely he'll stay in Spain, probably via a move to Barcelona.

Kenan Yıldız

  • Positions: Left Wing
  • Age: 20
  • Current club: Juventus
  • Likelihood: Possible (4/10) ➖ - The young Turkish international has appeared on our radar. He'd be a bit pricier than some other winger options, but still not too bad. But would he leave Juve?

Martin Zubimendi

  • Positions: Defensive Midfield
  • Age: 26
  • Current club: Real Sociedad
  • Likelihood: Likely (7/10) ➖ - Very strong rumours that Arteta (who is a long-standing admirer of him) has won over the player and an announcement on the transfer is imminent. And a deal with the club has been done, but we've been waiting until July out of respect for Sociedad and their fiscal motives. It looks like Real Madrid are trying to pull off a last-minute Romano poach for him. But as of right now Romano and others are still confident Zubimendi will be joining us. Either way, it's going to be a very long June!

Former Potential Ins

  • Liam Delap - Signed for Chelsea
  • Joan Garcia - Signed for Barcelona

Players Out

Confirmed Outs (Permanent Departures):

  • Jorginho - Heading out to Flamenco after winning our hearts over the last few years.
  • Neto - Loan ended, and he returned to Bournemouth.
  • Raheem Sterling - Loan ended, and he returned to Chelsea.
  • Nuno Tavares - Set to be bought by Lazio for peanuts after a surprisingly good loan spell there.
  • Kieran Tierney - Heading back to Celtic. Gosdpeed Tesco Roadman! You will be missed!
  • Marquinhos - Signed permanently for Cruzeiro.

Potential Outs List

Karl Hein

  • Positions: Goalkeeper
  • Likelihood: Possible (5/10) 🔼 - He seemed destined to be leaving, then he was staying. But now with Kepa on the brink of signing it's hard to see Hein - Estonia's first choice goalkeeper - wanting to stay as a third choice at Arsenal.

Jakub Kiwior

  • Positions: Left Back, Central Defence
  • Likelihood: Possible (6/10) 🔼 - He's coveted by some Serie A teams, and despite some good appearances for the injured Gabriel, he seems destined to be a rotation/back-up choice. There's been no word about him wanting to leave. But chatter of an exit is increasing.

Myles Lewis-Skelly

  • Positions: Left Back, Defensive Midfield
  • Likelihood: Unlikely (3/10) 🔽 - It seems crazy that Myles might be leaving us after a season where he's swooped in and become our starting left back. But here we are. We are trying to tie both him and Nwaneri down to lucrative new contracts, but the word is that the talks might not be going too well with Myles. Complicating things further is that Real Madrid are now sniffing around him (probably after witnessing how fantastic he was in the CL against them). Hopefully the latest rumours are bogus, and he signs the new contract. Latest news is the contact probably will be signed.

Reiss Nelson

  • Positions: Right Wing
  • Likelihood: Very Likely (9/10) ➖ - We couldn't offload him last summer so he instead went on loan to Fulham, where he barely featured. It seems extremely unlikely he has a path into our first team at this late stage in his career, especially with only a year left on his current contract.

Thomas Partey

  • Positions: Defensive Midfield, Right Back
  • Likelihood: Likely (7/10) 🔼 - He seemed destined to be on the way out due to his contract expiring, despite his interest in staying. But a new contract is being discussed now, and apparently he's happy to stay and compete with the incoming Zubimendi. However, his representatives have also had talks with Barcelona. And a new deal with us appears to have stalled.

Albert Sambi Lokonga

  • Positions: Defensive Midfield, Central Midfield
  • Likelihood: Very Likely (8/10) ➖ - He's definitely not in Arteta's plans for next season after some underwhelming performances for us last season (or was it the season before?!) And after another underwhelming loan spell, it seems inevitable we will try to offload him before his contract expires next summer - either in a permanent deal or via another loan spell. The question is: who will come in for him?

Leandro Trossard

  • Positions: Left Wing, Right Wing, Attacking Midfield, Striker
  • Likelihood: Very Unlikely (2/10) ➖ - There's been some chatter that we are looking to offload Trossard 'for the right price'. However, there's also been solid rumours that we want to increase his salary while not extending the duration of the current contract. The latter sounds much more plausible. Trossard has been a dependable, versatile, and capable attacker for us in a difficult season. And given that we already have a thin squad and are likely to lose some players, it makes no sense that we get rid of him.

Fabio Vieira

  • Positions: Right Wing, Attacking Midfield
  • Likelihood: Possible (6/10) ➖ - After flashes of brilliance last year combined with many mediocre substitute appearances, he went on loan back to Portugal. There he has not set the world alight, although he did end the season there pretty well. Arteta might be done with him at this point, but it's hard to tell at the moment.

Oleksandr Zinchenko

  • Positions: Left Back, Defensive Midfield
  • Likelihood: Possible (6/10) ➖ - He's become a bench warmer this season, having been displaced by the amazing Myles Lewis-Skelly. And Zinky doesn't seem to have a path back into the first team. However, given how injury-prone Tomiyasu and Calafiori are, it's quite possible Arteta will keep him around for another season as a reliable back-up.

Confirmed Loans

WOMEN'S TEAM

Players In

Confirmed Ins

Potential Ins

Ellie Carpenter

  • Positions: Defender
  • Age: 25
  • Current club: Lyon
  • Likelihood: Possible (4/10) ➖ - The Australian is rumored to be considering a move to an English club, with Arsenal a tempting destination if an offer is put in.

Chloe Kelly

  • Positions: Striker
  • Age: 27
  • Current club: Manchester City
  • Likelihood: Possible (5/10) 🔽 - Arrived on loan from Man City having become disillusioned there. Both Kelly and Man City announced at the start of the loan spell that neither saw her having a future in Manchester. And since then she's publicly declared how happy she is to be a gunner. The club seems happy with her too, so a permanent transfer looks likely. Although the latest talk is that she might want a fresh start elsewhere.

Keira Walsh

  • Positions: Midfielder
  • Age: 28
  • Current club: Manchester City
  • Likelihood: Unlikely (3/10) ➖ - Rumoured to be linked to a move to us this summer.

Renee Slegers had not played or managed beyond the group stages of the Women's Champions League before taking charge of Arsenal this season.

Just four months after being named the Gunners' head coach on a permanent basis, the 36-year-old has led the Gunners to Champions League glory for the first time in 18 years.

But how did the Dutchwoman - billed as the "next Sarina Wiegman" - rise up the ranks to become one of Europe's best young coaches?

Here's the story of Slegers - the player, the coach, and the person behind it all.

Iwobi didn't want to leave us in 2019, and was happy to compete with the incoming Pepe for a starting place on the wing. Emery also didn't want Alex to leave, and had plans for him (probably as more of a squad player). But Iwobi was the most valuable player deemed surplus to requirements, and Everton were keen to fork over £34m for him.

Arsenal have offered centre-back Will Sweet a professional contract ahead of next season.

Sweet enjoyed an impressive campaign which included him making ten appearances for the U21s as well as featuring in the UEFA Youth League.

The Hale End product wore the captain’s armband yesterday as he made his final appearance at U18 level in a 3-0 win away to Aston Villa.

We became the first team, either domestically or in European competition, to beat Madrid at the Bernabeu on each of our first two visits.

We also became the first English side to win there twice.

It was also just the fourth time in Real's history that they had lost a European Cup or Champions League game by an aggregate margin of four or more.

We are the Arsenal!

Delivered by Ornstein himself, no less!

"It was driven by managing director Richard Garlick and executive vice-chair Tim Lewis, with Josh Kroenke involved throughout on behalf of the ownership and input from manager Mikel Arteta.

"Berta prioritised Arsenal above a number of other top-level opportunities and those suitors have been told about the 53-year-old’s decision."
