Explain why? School choice is bad? A little competition amongst schools and higher standards is bad for kids? This sounds like union protectionism to me.

Maybe this is why their cars are all junk? Geesh.
Why should young, inexperienced people run the country? I admit that the US Govt. Is a tad too old, especially the current president. But, that doesn’t mean we need a bunch of Berkeley students running things either. No thanks.
Look, I know, I was once a kid/young adult too and didn’t listen to my parents or senior people very often, went against the grain, etc. but you eventually realize that maybe they DO know more than you did when you were in your 20s or whatever.
You are correct that they did benefit from it, pretty much any loan or debt did create some immediate benefit for the person that took on the debt. However, unlike college debt, I think it’s safe to say that people with medical debt didn’t sign up to be sick or have a major health issue. Totally different than college debt where people made a conscious decision to get an overpriced degree possibly in a field that doesn’t have any jobs available. That’s just called a bad decision and there is no argument as to why taxpayers should eat that debt.
There are plenty alternatives to college which can lead to great careers. Or, at least go to a community college and/or somewhere cheaper. But, nope, students voluntarily signed up for the loans and didn’t think it through. Sorry, you’ll have to pay that back. Get a second job like many people did before you and pay it down. Might suck for a while. Such is life.
I suspect most people would be far more open to medical debt being forgiven or at least rates dropped to zero than college debt. They aren’t even close to the same thing.
Anything is better than Reddit, IMO. Place is impossible to deal with and the bans are handed out arbitrarily…. But only if you don’t tow the decidedly left-leaning line. Users there are also more likely to be sissies as in running to the mods if you dare question them or cause them to need their crayons and safe space. You get the idea. I’m hoping this place is a little more balanced .
Good for you. EVs have a place in most households for quick trips and short errands. But that’s it. They have a huge set of issues that the anti ICE car brigade don’t wish to discuss. Face it, batteries are not a viable way to power the vehicles we all rely on and enjoy driving. Maybe as a second vehicle, yes but forget some big takeover. It’s so stupid.
