From what I've seen they're only adding ways to use AI more efficiently from the browser, it's not like they're developing their own AI, or forcing anyone to use it. It's not even an obvious feature either, and you need to set it up with an existing AI service.

So on the AI enshittification scale, I'd rank Mozilla pretty low (unless there's something I'm unaware of)

This is exactly how I feel looking at this "meme". It's all money related and feels like it's encouraging people to say things like "oops I forgot to cancel my Amazon prime subscription, I must have ADHD haha". We live in overwhelming times, too much information everywhere, too many subscriptions, too much stuff with instant access, but nobody ever mentions that.

People used to get their news from a newspaper once a week. There weren't 10-20 "subscriptions" to keep track of. You couldn't pull a thing out of your pocket to relieve boredom or sadness or loneliness, and people couldn't contact you expecting a response within an hour. We're not used to this biologically...

To me, this meme seems to be making fun of ADHD more than anything.

An HD photorealistic image of a squirrel wearing a tailored grey business suit, standing at a stock market trading floor. He is looking intently at a screen displaying stock charts, with a determined expression. The room is full of other formally dressed squirrels and forest creatures. A hyperrealistic photograph of an elegant high-class giraffe in a bright colored suit with a pocket watch. He is seated at a small, ornate mahogany table in a sun-drenched Parisian cafe. The giraffe is sipping espresso with tiny porcelain cups. The background is blurred, showing other patrons and the cafe's interior. Dramatic lighting, shallow depth of field

Saw this meme a year or 2 ago and it gave me a chuckle.

Fast forward to now and I realize it's not actually a joke... 😭

I thought if you enable DAITA, you can either connect to a DAITA-Enabled server, or if you don't, it'll automatically multihop to a DAITA server. For speed I think you'd want to go straight for the DAITA but I'm fairly certain you can do both if multihopping is ideal.

It sounds like you'll have to set your Pihole as the DNS server in Firefox's settings, and then maybe from there it'll work itself out? Or maybe the Pihole documentation will be updated in the next few days with some instructions on enabling this. I'm unsure myself to be honest.

I do believe going barefoot is beneficial for both your body and mind, however I don't think everybody should start going barefoot out in public, grocery stores, sidewalks, etc. Too many rocks from our rocky infrastructure. Next time you go on a hike, however, take your shoes off and feel the earth.

Yeah I'm gonna be completely honest, Steam has pretty garbage info related to this considering how well it seems to work for me. They should really make it more obvious.

As long as Steam is running and signed in on your PC, after you first set things up, you should be able to pull up the Steam Link app on your phone, TV, etc and connect to your PC. They have to be on the same network until 1st time setup, then you can connect from anywhere.

I think there are some "home streaming" options in the Steam settings that let you set things like "boot to desktop/steam/Big Picture" so you can set it up how you want.

If you're trying to run it off wifi it might not be great (it'll definitely still work), but I've had good luck on a wired connection.

Not necessarily just steam games. I use the Steam Link app on my home TV connected via Ethernet, and you can boot straight into your desktop. Theoretically I could play or do anything I wanted as if it were my main desktop if I plugged in a mouse and keyboard.

I mind, because each and every doctor I've seen regarding my chronic pain I've been dealing with for over 5 years has refused to diagnose me, and every appointment I've been recommended anti-depressants and anti-anxiety medication, which are not solutions.

From my perspective, most doctors don't seem to do shit, they just listen and try to sell the trendiest, most profitable drug for Big Pharma. If I could find an actual, legitimate doctor, maybe my opinion would change, but I've been left to suffer by the only people that are supposed to be able to help. It's gotten bad enough to where I went to an emergency room, and they still did nothing, except try to prescribe more drugs.

I see it as a huge scam. A major scheme. It doesn't seem to just be insurance companies, but even the doctors themselves seem to be full of shit.

Dominant personalities and work styles almost always make it up to management.
