That would be the best description, and sorry for the confusing reference. Just wanted to try and give perspective on orientation without taking another picture. Definitely laziness on my part

I've got a shelf for a living room set that I bought third hand in Germany. I want to hang this shelf, but its got strange brackets and I don't know what they're called to look for the respective hardware that actually goes on the wall.

Unsure if this post fits in this community, so I'm sorry in advance if it doesn't 🙏 It's driving me crazy that I can't figure it out

Edit: for reference, the screw on the right is the upward/top side of the shelf

You could definitely get a basic 5.1 setup going about 1k. I went with an onkyo tx-nr6050 and a klipsch 5.1 reference theater pack. It blows every soundbar I've used out of the water, I would say the q990d has the benefit of having two back speakers and the convenience of being wireless.

I'd say if you get a return option on the soundbar setup, give it a shot. And if it doesn't meet your expectations then return and look into a budget AVR and some speakers.

For anyone scrolling, I've followed a similar rule. Except an is used anytime the following word makes a phonetic vowel sound. E.g ah, eh, ee, oh, ooh

In case you're not aware, and for any uninitiated that see this comment https://www.protondb.com/app/1086940 protondb is a fantastic database of Linux compatible games and crowd sourced suggestions on getting the best performance.

Baldurs Gate 3 ran flawless for me, but everyone's mileage may very depending on computer specs and Linux distro. Proton, and its counter part Proton-GE, work wonderfully the majority of the time. Biggest issue I run into anymore is anti cheat. Which can also be verified by https://areweanticheatyet.com/

For reference, I'm running all AMD with hardware thats a few years old now. Fedora 41 with some tweaks like feralinteractives' gamemode installed. You can install and use ProtonUp-QT to manage the Proton-GE versions and keep them up to date. I've been primarily Linux at home for a couple of years and have not missed windows. I hope more people are encouraged to try Linux and see what it has to offer

Late to the post, but a friend got this on their phone when they tried opening it again

Late, but maybe nextdns. I haven't actually tried with YouTube on an iPhone/ipad, but I know they integrate pretty easily on Apple devices. Fairly customizable too with a free tier, just need to make a profile.
