What will happen to those accounts?

I have to appreciate Trump for one thing: at least this time it's not The West that is at war with the Middle East.

Which US peace efforts!?

Do you have any idea how much money war brings to the USA?

No one should... and yet, here we are

The problem is that doing that will begin the 3rd world war, where Israel and USA will for sure be on one side, Russia and China maybe in another. Europe, one of the last organizations that has a small glimpse of caring for their people, has been relying too much on USA armament manufacturing and is very likely screwed, but maybe (I hope) someone will tell me otherwise.

And when there are no more illegal immigrants, guess who is going to have to fill in for their jobs and pay level.

Pretty sure it's hot

We only need that independence because we can't trust each other. There's no problem in some countries being more focused on one thing or another, as long as we are collaborating with each other without taking advantage of anyone. Unfortunately, there are still dangerous players in the world and we have to be prepared to defend against them and this capitalistic view we currently have guarantees that there's always someone taking advantage of someone else.

We need to evolve...

If you only need to worry about the IP changing, then your ISP is not using NAT, or CGNAT as it is better known. I'm pretty sure that you can also use port forwarding, which is not commonly available under CGNAT.

Accessing your home network that is kept inside a NAT by your ISP, without you having to acquire an online server somewhere.

My ISP uses CG NAT which is stopping me from reaching my internal network, so I'm thinking about using Tailscale to allow me to connect to my server and hence to my internal network.

But I'm not very comfortable giving 100% access to Tailscale to my internal network, so I was thinking if I could limit it only to what it requires to connect to the internet and to a wireguard service running in the same container. This would in turn connect to a wireguard server in the container's host and provide me with full network access.

I know, as long as they have a service running in the server, even if inside a container, they can always be able to access the host. But even do I would feel safer if at least tried to contain it.

Does anyone know if this is possible? And can it be done through Docker Compose?

Lemmy appears to use more data than Reddit, so I'm thinking that maybe the images I see while scrolling are full sized instead of smaller previews. Anyone can confirm?
