I get a similar fix from r/UFOs

/r/HighStrangeness is often good slop too

A real timewaster, though in a different style, is also /r/CreepyAskReddit

like somewhere to just post about whatever theory we're currently reading

There is the regular "what are you reading" thread where usually 70% of the reading described is theory though

Also the other 30% of answers are fiction generally which is also nice; you can find some good suggestions there

There are entire subs of people on reddit-logo that take it deathly serious

Anytime they remember something wrong (which, you know, is incredibly common in all people), it can't be their brain; it has to be the entire universe switching around them

Feel like time is passing slower, or faster ? it can't be aging, or your mood; it has to be time itself being messed around with

One particularly sad example is /r/RetConned

A lot of those are pretexts for defederating I think

What rubs them the wrong way is our position on various issues (despite them being far more deeply argued and sourced than the paltry answers we usually get)

Also, admittedly and to a lesser degree, likely the fact we're numerous and terminally online so anytime something dunkable is posted even the small subset of online hexbear users that see it appear on their feed and interact must look like an army to them

half of them replies with huge and ugly emojis

Our emojis may be huge due to the lemmy bug (I've been trying to refrain posting some outside of the instance due to that), but ugly ?!

How dare them, we have the best emojis

Of the two examples of problematic content for that instance given in this thread, we not only routinely do it, we have dedicated emojis for both lmao

There's nothing better than to be able to chill or read a book while you're being carried at your destination, with the bonus of less environmental impact on top of it

They should be monetarily free for use though, obviously

Not bipolar but the only thing I know for sure is it can really trigger the symptoms

Only somewhat related, and should not be taken very seriously, but there's an optical illusion that works at least three times more often on people affected by schizophrenia than people in the general population; the rotating mask illusion (you see it as concave, then convex, etc. if it works; you only see one if it doesn't). For many people, including me, the illusion doesn't work at all but it suddenly does after consuming cannabis

Ah, that explains why I saw some PNG ones I knew were vector based in the past, thanks !
