Jesus, I'm struggling to fill my 24TB already; I have no idea how I'd fill 100TB

Well done ! did you taper off ?

The only time I stopped taking caffeine (not even voluntarily, just was doing other stuff and forgot about coffee) I had the very worst headaches of my life

I wouldn't trust a manufacturer-installed system to be honest

Given the size of the userbase I doubt they'd invest in developing and adding preinstalled similar adware as their windows OEM systems but you never know

Better order it without OS

Love to take a shower and feel like you immediately sweat and never get dry agony-deep

I'm sorry ! I've used those quite a bit before realizing and it must have looked like hell both on desktop and mobile

they aren't as immediate for sure,

That's perfectly OK, I checked and the controller is called at least once a minute (I didn't check exactly but I think twice per min). But I also checked what the controller received, and there's a bug there for sure

anyone can find a series of steps that reliably trigger a failed notification when one should be sent,

Yep, that's the problem; I've found no link between those I haven't received thus far. Old account, new ones; other instances, ours; doesn't matter. Some do, some don't. I'm always multitab though, perhaps that plays a role

I have a test env for lemmy (initially setup because I was worried about the last awful security flaw a few weeks ago); if I find the time I'll try a few scenarios

That also explains why I saw a user recently with a different internal name (in the URL) than their display name, thanks !

I only finally realized the bug existed when, a few times, I saw users from other instances post their custom emoji (in like 500x200px) and then looked at the bug reports

Before that I had been using quite a few of them in comments, and that made me feel guilty lmao; the dunk threads must look like hell from another instance with all these emojis

The lack of pronouns from other instances has been bothering me too

I don't know if it's a federation/lemmy limitation, or users not picking one, or if other instances didn't enable a feature or something, mind you
