Yes I do believe this.

Who can absolve a crime punishable by death but an innocent man?

This is really a question for your doctor.

3.3 not 33 (at least that's what the article says now anyway)

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 years ago

I probably should have italicized "interesting"

Let's be more honest. Both sides are horrible.

Yes, one side is "trying to set up detention camps, threatening to kill political rivals, consumed with hate". The other side isn't trying to better people. The vast majority (there are a handful of exceptions) of people in politics are trying to gain power and money for themselves and for their friends.

The biggest difference is that they haven't yet crossed the line into actively trying to destroy our democracy.

That's certainly enough reason to support that side over the other one. But it's not the "good side".

Imagine plugging in your car and all of the sudden you hear engine revving noises.

Actually, to be honest... I'd probably love that.

If modern cheap cars used good transmissions there'd be no need for manual. But man.. I am still super annoyed by anything that isn't A dual-clutch transmission.

I want power instantly.

The only way to get that is EV or manual transmission.

The comments on the page are interesting

EDIT: Italicized "interesting" to add more emphasis

Yeah I was trying to make a lame pun

Just for fun, let me buy every upsell, regardless of whether I want or need it.

And then let me compare that to the normal configuration of things I bought...

Why don't you compare apples to apples. Configure an M3 MBP like you would with fairly normal specs?

I am not at all surprised that men cook more than women in Italy. Seems like the culture for men to really enjoy cooking.

I enjoy it a lot too and there were definitely times that I cooked more than my wife, especially during the pandemic.

Related question. Do 24 hour clock folks say fourteen o'clock if they're talking about 2pm?

I've been liking Thunder a good bit. Keep switching between Jerboa and this but I'm thinking I'll stick with Thunder once it's a little more stable.

Anyway - how do I edit my own comment? I don't see a way to do that.

Besides this awesome one, of course. :-)

My kids are at Youth Camp this week and the theme is about Heaven and glory. It's been really good so far.

But it got me thinking about resources and I actually don't have a ton of books on the subject.

Not like you can't just post whatever you want... but here's a thread specifically for questions.

Psalms 33:18-22 (NASB) Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear Him, On those who  hope for His lovingkindness, To deliver their soul from death And to keep them alive in famine. Our soul waits for the LORD; He is our help and our shield. For our heart rejoices in Him, Because we trust in His holy name. Let Your lovingkindness, O LORD, be upon us, According as we have hoped in You.
