I don't think so. I don't see how it could. But I'm not that familiar with the apple side of things.

100% agree here.

The design of this is much better than VPN. Apple doesn't know what you're asking for or the data, but does know your ip. The CDN doesn't know your ip but does know what you're asking for.

And neither Apple nor the CDN have any way of matching the ip to the data at all since it's abstracted several times and encrypted.

Note: I'm not an iOS user but this feature does tempt me to switch.

Scarcity is a reality problem, not a capitalism problem. There will always be scarcity.

A bunch have. But it can be difficult to get a whole ton of non technical consumers move to a platform that's unpolished.

I love lemmy. But it can be confusing at first to new users.

It's pretty good on the highway. I haven't experienced the competition, but I have driven hundreds of miles on the highway with no real human input other than jiggling the wheel.

Yeah it certainly doesn't work like it should. Not sure why. I linked it just like the other ones from gifer

I only know about the subs I mod.

A popular one with a couple million subscribers is seeing way less posts and less traffic.

A smaller niche sub that I mod is still quite active with no signs of stopping.
