Hey all, I saw that there wasn't a kombucha community here and thought I'd fill that gap. I've been brewing for over a decade from my kitchen to helping get a large commercial operation off the ground. I enjoy talking sanitation and food safety. I am liking my experience so far. I did a decade on Reddit and feel like I got the full experience (including moderating a subreddit big enough to have front page problems). I was already a bit tired of it when I got called a Nazi like 30 times for posting on a specific subreddit a few times. This new enshittification kinda clenched that I want to move to a different place. Not sure if it’s Lemmy or not, but I’m trying it.
