People didn't think this was the case already?

I get the feeling they are trying to create a suite of applications to keep you locked into the ecosystem.
I just don't get on with Samsung devices. The software bloat ruins their great hardware for me. That's an amazing looking phone though.
My son has the 4a and it's a great phone. Same size as the Pixel 5 too.
I still have mine on my desk but it has a screen issue so it's unusable. I still pick it up just to feel it. It's just so good in the hand.
New sexy cop outfit?
Personally, the Pixel 5 was the perfect size and weight for a phone.
No bulky cameras. No thick chassis. No glass adding pointless weight. Very usable as a one handed device. Symmetrical bezels.
Same story, different day.
Maybe my Linux skills (which doesn't surprise me) were lacking. I tired in the past and gave up as it was buggy for me. That said I ran the game on a potato for the longest time so adding in emulation probably didn't help.
That's a big issue for lots of people.
I will say though that Steam's Proton is amazing. I play Guild Wars 2 and all previous emulations were awful and buggy. With Proton it's no different to running in Windows.
Definitely worth a try.
I don't know chocolatey but like Winget which is natively built-in
I use NextDNS and it's really easy to set up. There are guides in the dashboard. On Android it's just a case of copying the unique DNS over TLS address and pasting it in settings. Ad blocking then is system wide.
You do need to be keep in mind you're running a DNS as blocking service, as it just renders known as domains dead. There's no nice 'this site is blocked' page. I frequent a site to get get deals on the internet and of course it has a lot of referrals which don't work. It's just a case then of looking at the block list and adding it to the allow list. Airplane mode on and off and it will work.
