Sure. But they aren't at that age to be aware. To be honest unless someone is clued up the average person wouldn't know either.

Lol look at your downvotes!
I've ran Pihole for years but switched to NextDNS. It gives me more control over my kids access.
For example scheduled access to YouTube and Roblox. Also, since it's a public service it means I can block them regardless of network. So for example when we are on holiday. My eldest worked out he could use network data on his phone to avoid the Pihole.
Oh, and it's DNS over TLS so queries are now encrypted rather than plain text that regular DNS.
None of this will block YouTube ads though. For that I use NewPipe or Firefox and uBlock Origin.
The real cunt here is Apple...
Fuck Apple.
I do yes! Thanks. I'll take a look.
edit. Oof. A 10 year old issue.
All my games run great. I have one annoying issue that I haven't worked out the root cause of yet. But basically the issue is the computer goes to sleep/black screen whilst I'm playing with a joypad. It obviously thinks the PC is idle. However It doesn't happen with Stardew Valley so I'm thinking the issue is non-native Linux games. Currently I'm playing Dredge which is Windows only so running via Proton in Steam.
I charge at night because of Adaptive Charge. Quick charging all the time is shortening the life of your battery.
I think we all know trailers can be deceiving. They can make a poor game look good but, I guess, at the same time make a good game look bad.
As the old saying goes "Don't judge a book by its cover".
That's a weird take. Games like Minecraft showed the world that games don't need to visually look good to be good. This opened up the world for indie developers to make really good games utilising pixel art. I'm a big fan of Stardew Valley. In fact I'll call it now that the developer for that game has worked harder than any other developer in any game from the past or present.
I've just gone over 200 aliases and none of mine are blocked. Are you using a custom domain?
Currently playing this myself. I'm really enjoying it so far. I'm yet to really venture to the desert mines or the island.
