Thanks. Fuji sounds interesting: what would you recommend from Fuji that would rival the R50 without losing any of the cool features? Or maybe you could suggest a place where I can read up on that with the most up-to-date information?
SurpriZe
Oh, I see. And do you think you could recommend one cheapest Macro lens that'd do the job well for a beginner?
Thanks. After checking, I don't think it's much of a difference in price across regions/countries, as it seems to be still about 600-650usd for the body with the basic kit lens in most shops.
Thanks! Unfortunately, eBay has issues shipping to Vietnam and I'd rather not risk it. I wish I could find a reputable seller of used cameras here but I can't.
Thank you for the advice. There are a few options in that price range, including Nikon and Fujifilm. Would you say the R50 still stands out?
I'm in the price range of Canon EOS R50 and heavily considering it versus other similarly priced and new models. Any thoughts on that?
Thanks, that's a cool website!
In your personal view, is there anything that beats the R50 at the price point?
I'm almost ready to jump the fence and get Canon EOS R50 with its kit lens. Any thoughts on that?
Thanks a lot. What would you recommend to protect my camera in that case? Should I always avoid letting direct sunlight into the lens? But then how can I take landscape photos during the day?
Oh I'm the OP 😅 in where I live it seems that R50 is within my budget (I just pray to god these are not fake cameras somehow as Asia is obsessed with faking products). What do you think about it? Anything to consider?
I'm also considering getting it soon but not sure if Canon 6D (or some Sony camera) would be better. Is that better overall? Currently relying on advice from friendly strangers and some ChatGPT for research.
Thanks! That's exactly why I came here asking. So in your view it's superior pretty much in every way?
I'm in need of a good regular lens for all-round purposes that would take me a long way, and a decent macro lens. What would you recommend, the cheapest options? (only new, I can't find used where I live)
