Yea. Its not that he used the word "fuck". It is in the context of working with Netanyahu, then seeing that Netanyahu has no real respect for Trump or the US military as long as they support his wars. So Trump gets flustered realizing his Israeli buddy has no respect for the US and then says "fuck". It just hows Trump has no international relations abilities and he doesn't know what is going on.

Fewer people in the US are going to want to spend that much on a plushy. Unemployment is going to rise under Trump. There will be increased costs for needs and less cash for wants. But we will probably have continued inequality, so if a small scale artist can sell to rich people, they may do well.

Yep. In the next few years I expect more Americans to raise pigs on their suburban plots.

Don't forget land sales tax which happened a lot after the Louisiana Purchase and the Gold Rush.

I did the same with my IRA. I was in VOO but moved to VGK and some short term bonds. So far I've saved myself a good amount of money.

Assuming that all of the equities held by the bottom 99% are invested in retirement accounts, it would be 50.1% of the market. Yep. We will need Nuremberg trials to actually move on from this.

We need to weather the storm and come back strong. We need a FDR 2.0 to transition from chaos and oligarchy into a more equitable America with universal healthcare and more support for struggling Americans.

I think it is more about the nature of work in today's world. I think if we each felt that our day to day labor contributed to a better world where we were taking care of eachother, we would be proud of our labor and have a desire to continue bringing about good things. But, a lot of us don't see how our work helps the world, or if we do, we don't share in the reward for doing so.

This piece criticizes people who vote for Trump and Boris Johnson because they identify as "fans" of these politicians vs being aware of policy and voting based on that policy. It says that fans who come together to celebrate are fine. It is the fandom of Trump that disrupts peoples lives, and he does not like how "fandom" is used in politics that impact millions of peoples lives.

The car metric is for a new car. I think it's a valid assessment even if buying a used car is the better option for most people.

I think this is going to be really good. Noble BBQ will move from Forest Ave to the Elsmere building and is set to open in July. Good for them on expanding. Sad to see the Forest Ave spot go away tho. Lots of great meals from that shop.

The Department of Defense is investing in renewable energy with a goal of getting to 100% carbon free electricity for facilities n 14 states. As one of the largest polluters in the world, it is really great to see initiatives to move the military away from carbon polluting energy.
