I thought you were making the point that they were peaceful , and I was refuting that stuff was peaceful.

This one was only made possible after war was fought 100 years prior

This one came about as the final straw in the British Empire's back that was started off by the American Revolution.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dissolution_of_the_Soviet_Union

This one was was caused by the USSR suffering multiple setbacks after its war in Afghanistan, multiple proxy wars (e.g., Six-Day War and the Yom Kippur War; the Angolan Civil War; Somalia and Etheopia; Nigerian Civil War; etc.), putting down attempts at reform in the eastern bloc (Praque Spring the Polish Crisis), the massive unrest that had plain-clothes secret-police beating protesters just before the Berlin Wall fell, a violent revolution in Romania, and the August Coup failed.

Republicans are so caught up in the evangelical cult that they're ready to sacrifice American lives at another country's alter.

Something. Something. Something. End Times. God's Chosen People.

-Republicans.

The older Republicans included guys Theodore Roosevelt or Eisenhower, the ones who wanted a small government that leaves you alone. They seem to have died off after Regan.

Boston Massacre 2.0?

The Confederacy was in a state of rebellion too. He's equated standing up to ICE, which is seemingly similar to when the Bostonians stood up to and were massacred by the British, with the Confederate's bombing of Ft. Sumter.

Well you see, the thing about conservatives is that they are fucking ~~stupid self-serving liars~~ evil.

Fixed it for you. Some of the old school Republicans are that, true. But, this new Republican party adopted their sinister mindset because "god said so". While a few of them are motivated by greed, this shit-fest is motivated by legitimate belief. Incidentally, this is the same minset that motivated the crusades, the Spanish Inquisition, the Salem witch trials, 9/11, and ISIS. Its a fundamentalist mindset where they can jusify evil in god's name.

This bitch knows damn well America isn’t a “Christian nation,”

Maybe, or maybe she actually believes the lie. Or, maybe, she thinks it her mission to turn the United States into the holy land (ISIS thought the same thing about the middle east, and probably the world).

she’ll shout it from the rooftops if she thinks she can get away with it in order to advance her hateful, bigoted agenda.

Yep. She's a true believer.

I think that's a complicated question. It's both yes and no. Yes, we should nationalize them. No, nationalizing them should not be by tRump. That sets the precedent, or at least reinforces, the concept that the architecture of industry can be nationalized as payback for petty political squabbling. They should be nationalized, however, because fElon has proven himself to be unstable, reckless, petty, and a risk to the nation.

Right?! We have an administration that probably won't prosecute this as a hate crime and plea to down to a misdemeanor. Hate is the vehicle that the administration operates in, so hate crimes will rise because the authoritarian regime has green lit those crimes.

*Edit: To summarize - when you elect a Nazi, don't be surprised when people do Nazi-adjacent things like hate crimes.
