For so many, everything is black and white. They don’t understand that when we want better public transport we aren’t saying to get rid of the roads. We’re just saying that if people have more options maybe those roads won’t constantly be under construction, traffic won’t be as bad, and maybe the roads won’t have to be as big so we can build more cool stuff instead.

Surprised it wasn’t an electric van, but not surprised at the fact that the van wasn’t maintained. All of the contractors I worked for in the past elected to neglect the vans in order for the owner to take home more money.

You've never been in a precarious financial situation in the states, then.

Almost like questioning an AI is free while a therapist costs a LOT of money.

But it shouldn’t be, and that’s an issue. It doesn’t matter what color someone is, who they fuck, or what God they follow. It doesn’t matter if they’re disabled physically or mentally. Everyone deserves exactly what they need to be on a level playing field with everyone else. Everyone deserves safety, security, and everything they need to survive. Right now, PEOPLE are struggling. Yes, because others choose to degrade them for whatever reason, and we should focus on that, not what they’re being degraded for. Focus on the bullies, not the kind of people they punch. Tolerance of intolerance breeds intolerance.

Seriously. It doesn’t matter how people identify, they’re all people. And people right now are beaten, broken, and poor.
