I've seen users get outed as members for doing things like linking their Kiwifarms posts on other sites, and linking their posts on other sites on their Kiwifarms account, referencing specific comments people on other sites said about them, stuff like that.

A site created by a bigot that is for harassing, stalking and targeting trans and autistic people to drive them to suicide. It's been linked to several suicides including the famous emulator developer Near, also known as Byuu

The Daily Mail story doesn't mention that. It says he stayed awake to watch the game.

It’s believed we need sleep because of a waste product called adenosine builds up in our brains while we’re awake. When we’re unconscious the waste stops building up and the CSF in the brain gets rid of it. Adenosine is a CNS depressant and works on the same receptors as sleeping pills so wouldn't it be like the idea of holding your breath until you die, you'd just involuntarily pass out (as if you'd been given anaesthesia) and the problem would solve itself? I'm imagining a CNS depressant would cause unconsciousness long before it got to lethal levels.

I forever will associate "do your research" in this type of context with Flat Earth conspiracy theorists. I know a ton of people who are like this.

People who complain about being blocked really are the worst.

I often think about this when I see people used in meme templates like this. Do they know?

Fatal insomnia is a misnomer. It's a prion disease that literally eats away at the brain including the part of the brain that controls respiration and temperature. My point is the adenosine waste levels in the brain (fun fact, adenosine is what makes us feel sleepy or even start hallucinating if we've been awake too long, caffeine blocks the receptors of this waste product) would cause unconsciousness before they became fatal. I've never heard of anyone not being able to go unconscious.

Eventually your nervous system would be so depressed you'd just fall unconscious as if you took some sleeping pills.
