Or it was just a bug. You know, the thing that happens literally all the time in every codebase in the world

Candidate Who Won With Most Votes Ever in US History

Which has the exact same vibe as "the stock market hit all time highs!"

Let's never talk about changing anything because it's not the current climate then, yeah? There's no point in discussing change at all, clearly, since it doesn't apply to specifically exactly what's currently going on. Truly you are a paragon of our time

Unlikely. Around 15% is the generally recommended tip, and many people don't tip even that. Plus basically no restaurant is going to pay them what they would used to earn in tips.

No, they don't, actually. Workers in other countries don't make nearly as much as tipped workers in the same job here, and they manage perfectly fine.

Okay, and? The governor still has a huge impact on the priorities for the legislative bodies. If they don't agree, then the bill will likely never be even introduced in the first place because there's no point in trying. They can also help along negotiations for compromises where they would be focused on other things instead

Not necessarily, but also government spends an inordinate amount of money on extra processes and moves much slower, which could naturally lead to fewer accidents because they're just doing less, and also the government outsources quite a lot of labor which could include the more accident-prone aspects

And yet people pay significantly more tipping than they would if prices just increased to cover actual wages. Tipped workers make a lot of fuckin money.
