Android (or at least my Galaxy) has a setting that lets you disable the portion of the screen where the notch is, which makes it essentially identical to a phone with no notch.

Agreed, I don't hate it, but to me it's like I'm just eating pineapple and pizza at the same time. I love both, but eating both at once doesn't add anything for me and I don't think the tastes go together very well. I'd enjoy either one more on its own.
Thanks, I don't believe this is related to federation since the posts do show up in the feed and I am able to save them, or so it appears. They just don't show up in my saved posts when I later go and check. All other saves across all other sources seem to work fine, it's specific to lemmit.online saves for some reason. Haven't seen anybody else discuss this, but it isn't a popular source of content here either so that could be why.

The horngus of a dongfish is attached by a scungle to a kind of dillsack (the nutte sac).
On mine it appears to be a regular setting under the display options called "camera cutout". I do have developer options enabled though, so maybe that doesn't appear for people who don't.
