AFAIK, it runs at user level on Linux - still kinda SUS

I meant that it's reasonable to be concerned about it and request a refund, not that Snoy's rug pull is reasonable

Isn't creating a free email/sony account enough?

I don't need to turn off what I don't read

If you can somehow get the save files out of the PS5, you can copy them into the PC save directory

Oh I'm going to do that, but I also understand people who draw the line a bit earlier than I do and I think their frustration is completely warranted.

Looks reasonable for me, depending on how much information is required for creating a Sony account or how time-consuming it is to fabricate it (for example, unique, valid ad persistent email addresses don't grow on trees).

I don't think references are variables: you can't modify them, and AFAIR you can't have pointers to them, with the possible but unlikely exception of non-static member references.

I'm very confused by this thread.

Progress bars are handled by the applications themselves, whether flushing happens or not;

immediate flushing does not increase storage lifespan, in fact letting the OS decide when to do it may allow wear-leveling to work better.

(Though, IMO immediate flushing should be the default for removable media on user-friendly distributions, like swap partitions are)

Hot take: A scripting language is a programming language whose execution starts from the beginning of the file | stream.
