That was (kind of correct) a few patches ago: there ARE vents behind it, on the chassis - when it first appeared shooting it would be almost completely useless, but now those weakspots destroy them just like the other tanks.

I think they meant it the other way, they're not but they should (experiment for it to) be; either way, those patchnotes seem to be a bit ambiguous.
It says those adjustments are currently being tested, but I'm pretty sure that nah.

If it's just that, then I guess it's fine, every game has bugs... but there are so many occasions where just staying down after ragdolling can save me, but I can't do that so I die.

That's a trick question. Feathers have lower density than bowling balls; a ton of feathers would have a larger volume compared to the same mass in bowling ball, thus the feathers are heavier
