I'm in a rental right now with blind spot detection, and at first I thought it was pretty decent. Recently though, I've realized that 75% of the time it dings at me when I signal to change lanes, there's literally not a single object within 50ft of me on that side. It's just meaningless noise to ignore the majority of the time.

I don't think it would be totally unfair for people to feel less than fully represented by someone who doesn't look like them, even if they're a legitimate historical figure. He's also not a native historically either. Japan in particular does have a lot of racist tendencies, as far as who's considered Japanese, to add to the issue.
I tried to be upfront with the fact that I know nothing real about the game. If he's the main protagonist, I could see that being a thing. If he's just a character in the cast, then no, that wouldn't be particularly sensible.
I'll admit to not following the news on this one, but would it be that surprising that Japanese gamers were hoping to feel personally represented in the game?
Honest question since I consider myself insufficiently informed on the topic. How do you account for the various Communist dictators over the last century, and the genocides or famines or other things caused by them? I know a lot of those honestly come back to US interventions, but not all of them?
It sounds like you're describing the same thing that happened when we globalized manufacturing. Economists said everyone would retrain and go to other fields, but it just doesn't seem to happen IRL.
I'm in Texas right now, and tbh I feel like Democrats would be able to do a lot more good here if they let go of gun control for now and focused on actually being electable in Texas so they can work on the multitudes of other issues there are to fix. You could even probably reduce shootings by fixing social issues, but you have to be elected first. If they did well long enough to prove some more liberal ideas work, people may trust them enough for gun control to happen one day.
Looking up just a few of the first search results for R7S bulbs, I see LEDs around 3300 lumens and halogens around 4500 lumens, so that makes sense. I don't know if anyone makes a bright enough LED for your replacement.
I'm thinking there's possibly some confusion here too, due to the way they label bulbs. It looks to be like the halogen is rated to use 300W itself, whereas LED bulbs are labeled by their incandescent equivalent wattage. Halogens are significantly more efficient than incandescent bulbs, so I think you'd need someone to make a 350-400W equivalent LED to match.
They make 200W+ equivalent incandescent style LED bulbs these days. I have one as the only light in my garage and it's like the sun, but only uses like 13W.
Unironically, I do in fact do this all the time. I make large batches when I bake, so it's easier to just tare and measure everything directly in the stand mixer bowl instead of scooping 16 cups. It's also less clean up afterwards!
I really don't get why automotive electronics makers are allergic to having a proper UX team, other than no one else in the industry has one either so it's not a competitive disadvantage.
I had to reread this several times to realize your previous comment was playing off of "amen", rather than being a request for "a man". Dunno how many others had the same issue understanding you though.
