Hey there! I’m another Reddit refugee looking to make a new home here. After a couple of false starts (not with Lemmy) I finally looked at this site for ease of use. I’m hoping to bring over a few other Reddit refugees from my favourite subs in the near future and expect to be settling in quite soon. I’m also wanting to create a community for my special interest - just not sure how I’ll go about that at the moment since there’ll be a couple of decisions to be made. Now for a proper look around.

So glad your daughter came through this and congratulations on her cancer free status. Hopefully there will be a cure for this dreadful disease sooner rather than later.
