The bald faced lies are like the final insult. Even during the lead up to Iraq they made a show of trying to fake intelligence enough to suit their goals. Now it's just, fuck it we ball, and say whatever, who cares, and who cares if they know we're lying, they can't do anything about it.

You think his cult members won't eat this up and just follow their Daddy because he told them so, Associated Press? That's rich, they're already out there justifying it. Once they get their marching orders from FOX, it will be "war is a good thing and when we said wars in the middle east were bad we just meant only when they're started by Democrats" conveniently ignoring how few of them have been started by Democrats instead of being spearheaded by Republicans like the faked intelligence leading to the Iraq War. Democrats didn't push it, they just went along with it because public sentiment said the people wanted war. Democrats, being the wishy washy fucks they are, bent over and said "I'll do whatever I need to keep idiots happy and voting me back in."
The only change here is Russia and Ukraine, and that’s been ongoing for years now.
I dunno, the Russian invasion of Georgia was in 2008 (Russia has actually been involved with warfare on Georgia going back to 1993). They haven't always aimed at the exact same areas and while they didn't invade Belarus, they seem to have a good relationship with the country in a vassal state type of way. It certainly seems that Russia has been trying to regain lost territory for most of the same time period as the wars in the middle east.
A lot of people also don't seem to remember the whole reason that the USA originally sided with and funded bin Laden and his Mujahideen was to kick Russia out of Afghanistan. It's part of what eventually bred bin Laden's distrust and hatred of the US for essentially being used as a tool and then thrown away.

It really was. I don't know how these absolutely terrible movies continue to be the movies that make the most money. Minecraft is literally one of the highest grossing video game movies ever, right behind The Super Mario Bros movie and is possibly going to surpass it. Are most humans really that fucking tepid and pedestrian? I guess so.

Is anyone else getting failures to generate reports when reporting the constant spam from "Nicole, the Fediverse Girl" which originates from a different, new instance every time?

I just want to know if reports are failing for anyone else and if we need to be making some kind of plea to the admins/moderation teams/developers to try to fix it.
Because not being able to report this obvious spam is a problem.
It's definitely not universally true. I don't like my space looking like a dumpster and I dated a woman for 13 years who absolutely, positively, would not clean, and didn't know how to use a garbage can. Would drop trash on the floor and leave it there until I finally got sick of it and cleaned it up. She would leave dishes unwashed and just laying around.
But outside of that experience, most women I know have kept neater spaces than me. As I said, my place doesn't look like a dumpster, it's organized and tidy, but I probably sweep less, dust less, and so on. I do dishes daily because they get gross fast if you don't.
Also it is to be noted that I lived in absolute filth in my twenties and I had to teach myself how to clean and be tidy over time, it took about ten years until I was in my thirties before I was consistent on cleaning.
