That's a well known issue on large servers. I don't think the user can do anything about it, but it should be fixed soon.
Gotta respect that.
Never finished 3, or even bought 4, but I've spent so much time in JC2. I made my own objectives, such as riding different vehicles down a mountain, or strapping them to planes taking off. The actual objectives, like outposts were secondary, only sometimes clearing them when encountered.
Oh, I see. I was thinking of opening links within Lemmy.
I wasn't too interested with what happens to reddit, but if this is the path they choose, I wish them a very fun streisand effect.
Why a browser addon? My first approach would be to have the client do the job. Link to the page via the current instance, and ask the server to fetch it if it doesn't exist.
I'm not the one asked, but the ones I can think of top of my head are Killer7, which had pretty cool gradient shaders and Borderlands drawn style.
I never want to see this here, ever. The fact that anyone wants mass facial recognition is disturbing.
It can't mean temperature, mid sixties is almost a sauna!
That also. I've been keeping an eye on this kind of technology for my one person projects.
Say I made a post to some specific subreddit from apollo. How does the app decide which lemmy community to use, on which instance? Or if I voted or made a comment, on which post on which community on which instance should it land?
I don’t think this is a serviceable idea.
