Yeah that's a pretty accurate way of putting it ngl. I'm probably stealing this

I was actually looking into buying ThinkPads. Would you say they're as good/maintainable/upgradeable as they used to be? Or is it better to get a MacBook and replace it after 5 or so years?

Same, I'm trying to be more active in terms of at least commenting and upvoting than I was on Reddit, a little bit because I hope more comments and activity will help bring in more people, and a little bit because I think each user's voice is more important when there's fewer users

Thank you for this!

I might be dumb for asking this, but have you tried dragging and dropping a folder into the sidebar? Would that not create a shortcut?

I'm on Arch with Linux 6.3.8 and GNOME 44.2

All the ones I'm using right now are:

  • AppIndicator and KStatusNotifierItem Support
  • Blur my Shell
  • Dash to Dock
  • Overview background
  • Pano clipboard manager
  • Material You Color Theming
  • Night Theme Switcher
  • Rounded Window Corners
  • Transparent Window Moving

I'm using Material You color theming to get colors from my dark and light wallpapers, but you can also use Gradience with adw-gtk3 for a more manual approach.

Pretty sure the whole statement is

Stable is freaking old, and unstable has lots of limitations

I don't think they're saying Debian LTS is unstable.

Yep, I'm on lemmy.ca and in my settings I found Rediggit as a theme, which makes lemmy look similar to Old Reddit, so there's definitely progress

They've already begun work, and I'm excited to see it too! SyncForLemmy and Artemis are my top two right now
