It's not the NYT blocking you directly. They use a third party tool for detecting bots. It's possible your IP address isn't just used by you, but it's also possible your device has a set of fingerprints that is setting off detections. Without knowing your IP address I can't tell you more.

OP, you're looking for something called "Bot as a Service". There are more and more companies that cater to those needing a bot infrastructure. Bright data, ScrapingBee, ZenRows, and Apify are some of the more common services I typically work against that offer what you're looking for.
